If you like good German food -- don't miss eating here. From the German bread brought out immediately to the best German Chocolate cake I may have ever had -- this was a wonderful dining experience. I had the Sauerbraten with potatoe dumplings and my husband had the combination special plate with all types of German meat. Both meals were... More

Have been enjoying the Lorelei since the 1980's! Great food and beer selection. Very friendly atmosphere. They have authentic German cuisine but the Rhine burger is to die for. The Friday fish fry is also excellent. Family run and they take much pride in their establishment. Would highly recommend.

Looking for something different I noticed an ad in a travel brochure for Lorelei Inn in Green Bay. It listed the restaurant as German-American dining. Quaint bar filled with what looked like a regular crowd. Seated us right away in the dining room that seated maybe 45 people. Server was there right away and ask about drinks, asked what beers... With over 30 visits we have never had a "bad" meal. Our favorite is the beef tenderloin dinner. We have always found this cooked to our order (medium rare) and the quality had always been great. While some are better than others, we attribute that to the beef, not the preparation. At least 95% of the time the steak just... More

Good German food for sure, and excellent dessert. There were really only 3 things on the menu that were truly German - the rest was standard fare bar food. Large bar area, with many selections on tap.

Beer selection was excellent. The bar area looked nice and bar was full of locals...friendly & accommodating. Menu was a little disappointing. It was billed as a German restaurant, but there were only four or five German items and one of these was knockwurst. I had the weinerschnitzel. It turned out to be a plain fried, breaded veal cutlet...no sauce... More

Waited long time to order after being given menus. German cuisine meat very tuff and small portion for the price. Not a good value. Not enough wait staff, had to wait 20 minutes for check after asking for it.

A date with hubby to visit a landmark in Green Bay WI. Special was a NY strip. It was cooked to perfection. Nice atmosphere. Loved the menu listing for German entrees. Will definitely return to enjoy one of them in near future.

We just had lunch there and it has a lot of historic value to the city, as it has been around for a long time. The European pub atmosphere with the ability of getting a good variety of American and German style food makes it a good relaxing place with family and friends. Its not a very large place, however...
