Kavarna Coffeehouse is a cafe in Green Bay's Broadway District. We offer a mix of sandwiches, pitas, wraps and salads--using many local ingredients when the seasons cooperate. We have an espresso bar, a full time baker, and a lot of space to get things done--the New York Times called us, "cavernous," in their feature on 36 Hours in Green Bay.

Black Bean Burger

I'm not usually a vegetarian option type of person, but this place rocks the best black bean burger I've ever had. It's got some kick which I always enjoy.

Alex and Linda have created a cozy coffee shop on Broadway. The staff may change but Alex and Linda's attention to sourcing the coffee and food has never wavered. If you are looking for responsibly sourced fait trade coffee and locally grown produce this is the place. The vibe is relaxed and cozy. As often as not this is the... More

I love these local cafe/coffeehouses - so much character. Kavarna has high ceilings, great front windows for people/street watching and pretty good food. I had the feta portabella panini, and while it had a little too much bread, it was still good. I had one of their homemade cowgirl bars for dessert - very good! You get your own water... More

They had good coffee and a good breakfast. I got a raspberry cream cheese stuffed french toast that was delicious. My husband got an oatmeal that was supposed to have chocolate chips, but didn't, that is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5.

The place is awesome. The coffee is A+ (and that's coming from a starbucks freak) and all you can drink!!. Next time you are in Green Bay for a Packers game, go tank up with super bold and go cheer with gusto at the game. A definite don't miss!

Met my friend for lunch today and ordered a wild rice with mushroom soup and the artichoke wrap. The soup was tasteless with a very thin broth... Ugh and the first bite of the wrap was total and complete garlic, couldn't eat either, it didn't even say garlic was an ingredient for the wrap. Was very disappointed. This place has... More

Kavarna is fun and fabulous... It is in the heart of the historic Broadway District, downtown Green Bay. I walk there for lunch from work. The food is always fresh. The atmopshere is casual. I visited the "Bridge Tender" location in downtown DePere this week as well... same great Kavarna deli fare in a quaint venue - My kids and... More

This place was great for getting some work done in the morning before a business meeting in the afternoon. They have good coffee and great breakfast and lunch. I would rate the coffee a 4 and the food a 5. The atmosphere was lively but you can find a quiet corner to stay away from the buzz. They have wifi... More
