Kavarna Coffeehouse is a cafe in Green Bay's Broadway District. We offer a mix of sandwiches, pitas, wraps and salads--using many local ingredients when the seasons cooperate. We have an espresso bar, a full time baker, and a lot of space to get things done--the New York Times called us, "cavernous," in their feature on 36 Hours in Green Bay.

This place was chosen by manager Jim as I am a Vegan. I really liked the dish I ordered (falafel wrap) and my colleagues too, who were non-vegetarians and visiting for first time, said they planned to visit again. It is spacious and the ambience was lively. All you have to do is order, pay and crack a joke or... More

We have enjoyed their unique drinks and dinners in the past but this time we made a stop for desserts - a killer pecan pie bar, a dynamite lime cream bar, and an incredible peanut butter chocolate chip bar. At $3 each they were enormous, enough for the next day and then some! Delicious!

Always good service 24/7, friendly staff although it is a bit slow on the service because it's always so busy! The awesome atmosphere will make you want to come back, and did I mention live music at night??? You should go!

I had never been, so decided to check it out. It was busy, which I guess is a good sign. The guy who took my order was super nice and I really enjoyed my sandwich. I had had a hot ham and Swiss. It came on a pretzel bun which is why I got it and I was not disappointed!

Used to be solely vegetarian. Sadly they now have meat on the menu, husband says the meat items are yummy. So much yummy vegetarian food still. Great selection of tea. Many vegan Desserts. The vegan PB rice crispy treats are amazingly addictive. Cheesy Artichoke wrap is the best seller for a reason. Great atmosphere. Great owners. Great community events. One... More

I've been there once a month since Dec 2014. I order a Large coffee, of their Daily brew. and EVERY SINGLE TiME, seriously, every single time - the pots are empty. How is it that you are a CAFE coffee house and you don't keep your daily coffee selection brewed?

I'm not usually a vegetarian option type of person, but this place rocks the best black bean burger I've ever had. It's got some kick which I always enjoy.

Alex and Linda have created a cozy coffee shop on Broadway. The staff may change but Alex and Linda's attention to sourcing the coffee and food has never wavered. If you are looking for responsibly sourced fait trade coffee and locally grown produce this is the place. The vibe is relaxed and cozy. As often as not this is the... More

I love these local cafe/coffeehouses - so much character. Kavarna has high ceilings, great front windows for people/street watching and pretty good food. I had the feta portabella panini, and while it had a little too much bread, it was still good. I had one of their homemade cowgirl bars for dessert - very good! You get your own water... More
