We visited Republic Chophouse during Restaurant Week 2014. As expected it was very busy. The restaurant was well staffed- hosts, servers, bartenders- and everyone was smiling and attentive. This restaurant is a jewel in downtown Green Bay- great interesting appetizers, mouthwatering steaks, delicious desserts. There are lots of different dining areas- all special and unique. This is a place to... More

Came here for our 27th anniversary The food and the service were both excellent. The bread came with three types of butter - regular, cheese, and chocolate chip. All were delicious. We had the poached pear salad - yummy. The filet and garlic mashed potatoes were to die for. Would eat here often if we lived nearby.

Probably one of the most expensive steakhouses in Green Bay, but very much worth the cost. I've been to Republic several times and have never had a bad meal. Servers, hostess, and bartenders are some of the best. Great cocktails and mix drinks, I recommend a whiskey or brandy old fashion pressed. The French onion soup is my favorite starter.... More

Hard to find because of very little signage out front, but worth the effort. A nice large bar area. First class menu of typical steakhouse fare. The service was attentive and friendly. Prices pretty reasonable for the quality of the food. We were there on a Wednesday evening and they were far from full. But there were a few other... More

I love it here and you just can't beat the service. From the wonderful bar tenders to their service staff you know you are in a hi end chop house. I can do appetizers or a steak and have never had a bad meal. If you are looking for a special place for a birthday meal ask for the side... More

My sisters and I were recently in Green Bay dealing with a emotional family matter. After a couple days of dealing with the emotional ups and downs we were in need of a good steak and wine along with a quiet relaxing atmosphere. Google search brought us to Republic Chophouse. What we received was so much more than any one... More

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with a late (8pm reservation) dinner. This was our first time at RC, and we were very impressed with the ambiance, service, and food. My husbands eats in restaurants all over the globe, and he though it was great. We loved that the courses came slowly; start to finish took two delicious... More

In my travels i delight when i find a world class meal in an out of the way place. I would suppose a steak is probably the easiest way to find something like this but i have on occasion spent a ridiculous amount of money on a hunk of meat that simply didn't live up to expectations. (every steak house... More

We recently visited Republic Chophouse for the first time and we were very happy with service, flavors and even the bill! The setting was great and our steaks were cooked perfectly. Calamari as the starter was great and surprisingly our drinks were well priced in the lounge.

I took my father to the Republic Chophouse as part of our annual Christmas trip to GB. Personally, I think the restaurant tries a bit too hard to be cutting edge. The host welcomed us with a "killer to see you" greeting which is a bit much at 5:00 pm. The restaurant itself is nice- clean, modern feel. The food... More
