Great Fish Boil + BBQ,

We heard about Fitzgearlds by word of mouth a few years ago now that its a must stop if we are anywhere near! The fish boil is just excellent and tender with great taste, the BBQ chicken and ribs are also great if you have a big appetite. The sides from the onions and butter, or creamy cole slaw... read more

I can't believe that this restaurant has been here for many years and I had never heard of it. A friend suggested that we go to this restaurant for a girl's get together. I am a person that likes fish and have eaten at a couple fish boils in Door County. This outdoor cooking process, taste and presentation of the... More

Fitzgerald's uses only cod so there's never the search for bones in the fish. Add chicken and/or ribs if you so choose. The best rye bread accompanies your choices. Coleslaw, boiled potatoes and onions + the best rye bread.........it's all you can eat........except dessert and that doesn't matter since you'll be full anyway! Cozy in the winter or fun under... This place is a gem. Stopped here on a referral from a friend whose taste we trust on a drive back from Beloit, WI to Mundelein, IL - which takes us though Southeastern Wisconsin. This restaurant is in a town with 1 stop light and quaint streets, near the WI/IL state line just south of Lake Geneva. It doesn't look... More

1. Good prices: $14 for fish boil all you can eat, which included fish, potatoes, onions, cole slaw, bread, coffee, and apple dessert. $15 will get you bbq chicken and the fish dinner. $18 will add ribs to the plate. 2. Good food: The fish is amazingly good with no fishy flavor. The cole slaw is creamy and the right... More

It was our first experience with a fish boil and we were very pleasantly surprised. Full bar and all you can eat fish (you can add chicken and ribs for a small upcharge) We've eaten there many times and have never been disappointed. Be forewarned its CASH ONLY no plastic accepted

My husband loves the fishbowl which is boneless cod boiled with onions and potatoes door county style. Butter poured over all. I prefer the barbecued chicken and ribs. Excellent coleslaw. Like to sit on the deck on a pleasant evening.

We visit here regularly because the food is exceptionally good. It is a quaint old house converted into a pleasant dining experience. Nothing fancy or elegant. Just very friendly service and great food. Fish is served buffet-style by a server who will dish up the cole slaw, boiled potatoes and onions and of course the fish. It is all you... More

Haven't had a fish boil for a very long time, in Door County, and this was as good, if not better. From the warm greeting at the door to the service and wonderful food, I cannot wait to return. Considering this was Mother's Day, I was amazed at the quality of service and food. OUr server was so kind and... More
