Set in a historic building in a small town just two blocks north of the State Line, Fitzgerald's provides a dining experience that's pure Wisconsin nostalgia. It's a perfect cap to a day spent in nearby Lake Geneva, WI or Richmond, IL. Though the restaurant opened in 1989, it has the aura of an eatery that's been around much longer.... More

Outstanding fish! Wayyyyyy better than anything in Door County - no bones, tails, fins, or lips, just good solid white tasty fish. Even if you don't like fish, you will like this - very good. There is outside or inside seating. This self serve/buffet type style, but there is a wait staff for beverage service. This is all you can... More

I am not a fish person but the friends we were with are and they really enjoyed it. I had chicken as a substitute and it was okay.

We had a group of 24 that went here for dinner last night. The price was very reasonable. $15 for chicken and fish boil with all you can eat (although only 1 dessert per person). There are only 3 entree options - boiled white fish, chicken and ribs. You can get 1, 2 or all 3. They were very good.... More

The food is tasty, however, a little pricey for what it is No staff are personable place closes at 9pm on Friday evening. At 9:10pm an obnoxious young man clapped his hands super loud and yelled loudly to all seated 'Lets go we're closing up' no manners no class won't be returning

We love the food at a great price. We visit 3 or 4 times a year. Specials are available on some nights as well as the best fish boil around.

This is a Wisconsin classic. The food is cooked traditionally on an open fire outdoors. All you can eat is the order of the evening at this cash only venue. Food is prepared in batches and served buffet style. Everything is delicious, BBQ is also available, BUT only one apple square for dessert .

We have wanted to try Fitzgerald's Octagon House for fish for quite some time, and we finally had a chance to give it a try. We really enjoyed it, and we were glad that we finally came here! Because we thought they might be busy on a Friday night, we called to make a reservation, but they said they do... More

Although we knew better to go on Friday night (very busy) we went anyway. Yes, we had to wait, but the Bloody Marys made the wait go quickly. Drink prices have gone up somewhat, but still are competitively priced. Dinner prices continue to escalate, but for an "all-you-can-eat" outstanding meal, it's worth the $14.00. We (four of us) ate on... More

We had a lovely time at Fitzgerald's although Friday night fish boil was VERY crowded so if you do go on Friday night, expect a long wait. The fish, potatoes, onions, coleslaw, rye bread & dessert were delicious. Very friendly wait staff and they really work their butts off making the meal. If felt very old world and romantic. We...
