Authentic

This restaurant is old but clean. It feels like a throwback to the 60's / 70's. The food was very good but slightly expensive. However many places in DC are pricey so it was not out of line. Treat yourself to an old fashion the drink of choice when in Wisconsin

Old Fashioned Wisconsin Supper Club just like I remember as a kid. Old decor maintained and clean. They start you out with a basket of warm dinner rolls, which were tasty and the butter was not frozen (like some restaurants). We were joined by Wisconsin family who had the Perch and Walleye fish fry. They both were very happy with their... More

We wanted to try something different and a little off the beaten path while visiting Door County. We gave Greenwood a try for a nostalgic feel. Ivan our server was one of the best we had while in Door County. The salad was good but after that the food was just awful and way over priced. I had the ribs... More

Panelled walls, painted murals, old wooden bar, painted red and white exterior; a classic supper club lives on. To aging folk it's a way-back comfort machine, to youngsters it must seem baffling. The jacketed servers are friendly and well meaning but ours got things mixed up a bit. All errors were made good with the best attitude. The food? As... More

My wife and I both ordered the breaded fried Lake Perch, lighter portion version. We received 5 small pieces about 3 inches long. Really not much on the dish for $21.95. Wondered if it was going to be enough but after tasting only ate two pieces and my wife returned her dish. It was rubbery and dried out. They did... More

Fun to go to an old fashioned supper club, where the choices are old standards and the drinks are stiff. Prime rib was good, but you get it the way they cook it, no choice. Gone is the relish day of old, kind of sad. Place a little worse for wear, no wait, but we went for the old time... More

Friday night fish fry is a wonderful experience and a regular tradition for many in this delightful throwback supper club. It is a supper club complete with rolls and salads - only thing missing is the relish tray. The perch is first-rate….always light and flaky with a sweet taste. The steak was wonderful - just like it should be done.... More

This is our first time here. My wife had the prime rib (excellent) and I had the scallops - pretty good. We had a new waiter and he had a rough time. My wife ordered the queen cut prime rib but he brought her a king. He forgot to ask how she wanted it cooked but came back and asked.... More

We have been coming to Greenwood for 40 years and remember when you had to wait in line for an hour for a table. There is no line anymore, and now we know why. We went in early July, and it is probably our last time. We had all of our formerly perfect favorites, whitefish, perch and shrimp, and nothing... More
