Although passing this restaurant numerous time, we never were compelled to stop and try it until last seek. Wow, we missed out on numerous pleasant experiences. A very comfortable atmosphere, a wonderful menu and service others wish they could provide. Our waitress was Katelyn and she is nothing less than wonderful.

We have eaten twice now at the English Inn in Fish Creek and both times have been pleased. The service was great and the food served to perfection. Strongly recommend reservations.

This restaurant found a formula years ago that worked and it has stuck with it. Good steak and seafood. The good news is that the food is good. Our party had steaks, whitefish and beef wellington which were all great. The salads and desserts were also tasty. The bad is that the service was lacking. It's hard to expect great... More

Three of us visited the English Inn for Dinner on a Saturday night. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and were told they were running late and we would need to wait. So we went to the bar to wait. The bar tender was so disorganized (only 4 others at bar) and it took him almost the full 20... More

Used to be one our our favorite dinner places, not anymore! Last night, I tried to order my old favorite - the Inn's Turtle Cheesecake to go - the worst bartender experience of my life!! Twenty five minutes of franetic (with only 6 people at the bar!), hyper complaining, brush-off service and ambiance. I'm still smarting from it the next... More

Wine selection was above average, salads were very good (dinner salad, spinich salad). My wife had Beef Wellington, which was outstanding. I had the Sea Food Pasta and was very disappointed. I had a few shrimp, but not sure where the other sea food was. The Alfredo sauce was bland; someone needs to teach the kitchen how make this. BIG... More

pulling up to the English Inn, I wasn't sure what to expect. The suits of armor out front. The place looked a bit small so I wasn't sure. I saw some tables outside and it was a nice night so I was thinking that would be nice to sit there for dinner. No luck. they don't serve dinner outside as... More

As other reviewers have mentioned, the atmosphere at the English Inn is wonderful. It has the feel of an old Wisconsin supper club, welcoming and friendly service, and a classic menu. My husband and I had drinks on the outdoor patio and met some lovely people who were also enjoying the evening. Super nice bartender who not only made the... More

The aesthetics of this place are great! Outside in a knight in armor, inside white clothed tables, some large windows overlook a lovely courtyard with lights on trees .....for effect in the evening. The food was mediocre. My pasta was white, hugh amount......with some vegetables thrown in in an average red sauce. My husband had lake perch which had very... More

Our first visit was on a cool and very wet day. We arrived as English tourists on a strong recommendation and were immediately warmed by a very welcoming fire around which had been placed very comfortable settees. Having dried off and helped by some pleasing cocktails the four of us were taken to the table and looked after by a... More
