Delicious fish boil. Great staff and nice outdoor seating. Cooks explain the process to the diners while you watch them prepare the boil. Fun to watch. If you've never had a fish boil this is the place in town to try!

My husband enjoyed his first fish bowl. It was interesting to hear about the fish boil history and watch the fish boil cooking process outback of the restaurant. Make reservations or get there early to get your tickets. The fish bowl was around $18 but included soft drinks, side of boiled red potatoes and coleslaw and a piece of yummy... More

All I can say is wow! Ok let's start by saying I only created a tripadvisor account because of this place. I usually just take a look at what others had to say and never contribute. From the start my wife and I showed up not knowing that you NEED a reservation. We were ok with waiting but they squeezed... More

This is the third fish boil we've tried in Door County, and so far it's the best we've found. Nice size fish steaks, easy to de-bone, vegetables not overdone, and choice of a smaller entree (for less price) for the women make it a very accommodating and enjoyable experience.

We had the "Fish boil over" for dinner. We watched the preparation of our dinner of white fish, potatoes and onions in a process prepared outside that has been done for years. The owner of the restaurant has personally been the one doing the "fish boil over" for 30 years. So fun to watch. Delicious, excellent meal! I don't want... More

For a person who doesn't like fish, I figured when in Rome do as the Romans. Stopped in Pelletier's for the fish boil. Was very good, the fish was not fishy at all. Cherry pie was excellent. If you never done a fish boil I would recommend it.

We had a great time at the fish boil. The commentary by Matt was fun and interesting and the food was great. The combination of fish, potatoes, onions and of course the cherry pie is just mouth watering. We went to the White Gull Inn a couple of days later and it was not as good. The commentary was virtually... More

Now this could be because it was my first fish boil ( never forget your first time) but the atmosphere was so chill, you can a good beer while waiting, then the "show" begins...then you can enjoy a good dinner- things to know that I didn't - look out for bones "whitefish" has them. Also, not a lot of out... More

First and foremost, it's a restaurant. You can expect to see all of the classics on the menu if you go that route, but we went for the fish boil. Matt has been doing the fish boil a long time. He took the time to give us the history of the fish boil as well as answer any questions we... More

A potentially entertaining place if you watch the actual cooking of the 'fish boil' - just beware of there will be a lot of smoke; I also suspect they use some sort of lighter fluid to start the wood fire - I could smell some sort of chemical. I don't like my fish or seafood boiled or overcooked, so I... More
