For a person who doesn't like fish, I figured when in Rome do as the Romans. Stopped in Pelletier's for the fish boil. Was very good, the fish was not fishy at all. Cherry pie was excellent. If you never done a fish boil I would recommend it.

We had a great time at the fish boil. The commentary by Matt was fun and interesting and the food was great. The combination of fish, potatoes, onions and of course the cherry pie is just mouth watering. We went to the White Gull Inn a couple of days later and it was not as good. The commentary was virtually... More

Now this could be because it was my first fish boil ( never forget your first time) but the atmosphere was so chill, you can a good beer while waiting, then the "show" begins...then you can enjoy a good dinner- things to know that I didn't - look out for bones "whitefish" has them. Also, not a lot of out... More

First and foremost, it's a restaurant. You can expect to see all of the classics on the menu if you go that route, but we went for the fish boil. Matt has been doing the fish boil a long time. He took the time to give us the history of the fish boil as well as answer any questions we... More

A potentially entertaining place if you watch the actual cooking of the 'fish boil' - just beware of there will be a lot of smoke; I also suspect they use some sort of lighter fluid to start the wood fire - I could smell some sort of chemical. I don't like my fish or seafood boiled or overcooked, so I... More

We went to a fish boil at Pelltier's and also ate breakfast there 4 mornings. The fish boil was excellent, and we enjoyed the informative but low key explanation that accompanied the process. We went for the first boil at 5 pm and were glad we did. This gave us a chance to find a table outside where we could... More

Have been there twice now - and will go again if I'm ever up that way. So fun to watch them do the boil and the food is very, very good. The wait staff was not unfriendly - just didn't go out of their way.

Good food for breakfast. I had two eggs scrambled and was very happy with the food and the service. They offer a lot more including a nightly fish boil during the summer.

I was skeptical about how the fish boil would taste, but it was a lot of fun and tasted great! Fun local tradition.
