Many people come here for dinner but we believe Pelletier's breakfasts are top notch and most likely the best in Door County. The B&B down the street has breakfasts that get a lot of publicity but Pelletier's actually has a far better breakfast at half the price. Can't beat their pancakes and their excellent eggs and omelets. Beautiful views out... More

The fish boil is the thing to do in Door County. I am not over impressed with this but it is a fun tourist thing to see and children love it. Pelletiers puts on quite a show with the fire and boil and it is fun to see. They only feed you at certain times. So for instance if you... More

A fish boil is just as much an entertainment event as it is a dinner. Reservations strongly requested as the dinner activity begins behind the restaurant while you watch a fire-master-chef cook the onions, potatoes, whitefish and the boil-over with the blazing fire fueled by adding kerosene to the flame. There are other options besides the bony whitefish. Meals are... More

If you want to experience a true fish boil come here! You have to make reservations as they do not accept walk-ins. Get there a bit early to get a nice seat by the window and to watch the boil as it is happening. You get a ton of food as well as delicious cherry pie for dessert. Can't wait... More

Our family of 6 came for the fish boil on a Thursday evening. Of the 6, I am the only one with a fish allergy. However, there is a large variety of non-fish choices if you are not a fish-eater. The hostess was also very knowledgeable, cautioning that I should not have the baby red potatoes, or the sweet onions... More

good demo, great food, good price and crowd control. Love the outside seating. Waitresses work hard. Make friends and take your camera.

They have the best pancakes in Door County!!! Pelletier's is a hidden gem for breakfast. They are known for their fish boils but we go for their breakfasts. You can always get a table. The prices are very reasonable. The food is fantastic!!

We had a fun experience. We made reservations and were told to show up 30 min ahead of time. We checked in and got to watch the process of a fish boil. As you watch the owner explains the process and has a question answer time. As soon as your meal is cooked they ring the dinner bell and you... More

What fun when Wisconsin white fish, new potatoes and onions meet their demise in a pot of boiling water tended by Wisconsin teenagers, toiling with good humor and a side of show bizz. It was a smokin' good time--or maybe that was the additional fuel oil splashed on the flame to ensure that the pot dramatically boiled over, the overflow carrying... More

Caveat: I'm not a great fan of fish boils--boiled fish and potatoes in Door County are basically the same everywhere, mostly overpriced tourist attractions and this one is no different. Good news at Pelletiers--they also have them on weeknights vice weekends. Young kids will enjoy the show, but tell them they will SUDDENLY see a big fire around the pot... More
