Best hamburger ever

Very interesting place. Upstairs from a market. Historical building. We sat at the bar. Very nice wine selection. Bartender was very willing to provide tasting portions of wine to make selection. We had a smoked halibut dip for appetizer and then the most delicious hamburger ever. The beef is grass... read more

Very interesting place. Upstairs from a market. Historical building. We sat at the bar. Very nice wine selection. Bartender was very willing to provide tasting portions of wine to make selection. We had a smoked halibut dip for appetizer and then the most delicious hamburger ever. The beef is grass fed from a local farm. I had mine with Gruyere... More

Well-priced menu with lots of gluten-free and vegetarian options. Friendly wine list. Small dining room. They don't take reservations but they have a small bar area to wait at. For less crowds, visit during mid-week.

This was my first dinner at Mr. Helsinki’s. The service was good and the menu is interesting. The food was pretty average for the price. Even though we have a home in the area we probably will not return. For the price and atmosphere there are so many better options in Door County.

Food good, wine list good, service good, but my hair and clothing smelled greasy and needed laundering after dinner. The ventilation system needs improvement.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Door County. It's an eclectic menu and a cozy space with good local art on the walls that changes out regularly. Gourmet burgers, interesting crepe dishes and a really good halibut offering. Service is attentive and they have a good selection of wines. It's a local favorite.

Please read this review before going. I NEVER write reviews but I feel it is a duty after tonight. This was the last restaurant we went to during our stay in door county and our only negative experience. The service was overall good but the food was terrible and overpriced. We were first served bread: What a joke, They gave... More

On my return trip to Door County, I wanted to stop by this placed I stumbled upon last year when I was here. It seemed like an odd place with a menu that was disjointed but appealing. So after I got settled into my B&B, I headed to Fish Creek, and climbed the stairs to the restaurant. I was warmly... More

This is one of the two places we always eat dinner at when we're in Door County and we've never been disappointed. We always get Jave for our watress and she is just a hoot. The food is incredible, the dinner crepes are unbelievably good, but the dessert crepes are to die for, even if you're full, make sure to... More

Small salads $7-8 I'm talking a before dinner size salad. Also soup was $7-8 for a cup size. Dinners were $20 + it was pretty good (had a noodle/shrimp type dish). Appetizers were also small for $8 + nothing to write home about. But they were open in the winter where some great restaurants are not. Probably will not go... More

It is rare to find a restaurant in Door County that doesn't serve traditional Wisconsin food. Not that there is anything wrong with that mind you. But Mr. Helsinki brings a unique offering of taste buds exciters that are not found anywhere in Door County. The food is great and the atmosphere is beautiful and enjoyable. With cocktails plan to...
