A favorite place in Door county

This restaurant is located in a Bed and Breakfast and is a lovely relaxing setting. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the county with good food and atmosphere as well as kind servers. It's a little pricey but I think it's worth it.

We ate here based on a recommendation. I was a bit disappointed in the limited menu. Unique offerings and well done, but not a lot to choose from. Additionally, one offering was sold out when we got there. The ceasar salad was disappointing. The trout entrée was good. Great seasoning on the orzo that was with it. Service was good,... More

This was our 2nd visit to the Whistling Swan and we had a great experience both times. The food quality, taste and presentation is very impressive. The Hinterland brews are very tasty! We had our son's rehearsal dinner at Hinterland in Milwaukee and were extremely pleased with our entire experience, so when we were in Door County we made a... More

Good food. Especially the cheese plate and salad. Not much of a selection on menu. Been twice but most likely we won't go back.

Our first visit to this restaurant did not disappoint! The atmosphere was cozy; our quest for a romantic dinner for two was complete! The menu offerings were varied and we had a hard time choosing! We highly recommend the roasted brussel sprouts as an appetizer and the almond cake with olive oil ice cream for dessert. The wine list is... More

We were freezing cold and wanted to quickly find a restaurant which wouldn't be a far walk from our car. Our luck, we stumbled upon the Whistling Swan. We made a reservation before they opened for dinner and waited 30 minutes in the reception room,in front of a cozy fire. So glad we did. Before apps, they brought us beet... More

We made an off season visit to Door County over the Thanksgiving weekend. After a friend recommended the Whistling Swan we made a reservation and headed in for our first visit. I was immediately impressed with the decor and the ambiance. There was a warm fire burning and I really liked the unique decor. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable... More

This restaurant is a warm cozy restaurant. We were here in early November and it was cold and raining, so with the fireplace going the atmosphere is great. The food was good, our service was great. They have a nice wine list. We would go back again

We live, part time, about six miles from The Whistling Swan, and it over the years for us it has earned its place as one of the special restaurants in Door County. The restaurant exudes warmth from the roaring fireplace, the elegant but comfy setting and the attentive service. The wine list is very good, the food is adventurous and... More

Finding a quiet, intimate, quality place to have a romantic evening seems to be getting harder. The Whistling Swan in Fish Creek, WI answers the search. The eloquent setting, exquisite culinary choices and artistic presentations compliment the superb customer service provided by manager Scott Zimmerman and Lail Marmor. We enjoyed our wine and the ambiance and know you will too.
