We are frequent travelers to the Door County area and have been to many restaurants there. Wild Tomato never, ever disappoints! The wood fired pizza oven, the ingredients, the quality of service are always top-notch. I ordered the Smoked Pork Barbecue pizza. WT's fantastic crust paired with a BBQ sauce base, smoked pulled pork , pineapple, green peppers and cilantro...all... More

A small but cozy restaurant. Excellent pizza, we had the D-Lux. Craft beers from different breweries. Nice staff. The pizza crust is hand tossed and made where you can see it being done. Had the cheese curds as an appetizer and they were tasty as well. Would highly recommend

In my opinion, the finest pizza in Door County Wisconsin. Great toppings, plenty of beer and helpful servers. We chose the small "DI-LUX" and we stil had two pieces leftover. The only problem is expect to wait at least 30 minutes if you're going for dinner.

We went to Wild Tomato on our first evening in Door County. It's a fun place to go, we enjoyed the staff and the wood fired pizza was excellant.

They use fresh ingredients, and from scratch dough. Some of the best pizza I've had. This place is always busy, and luckily they are opening a second location in Sister Bay. They don't take reservations, so if there is a wait, don't go if you're hungry. Kid friendly as well. They also have good craft beers on tap.

My husband and I came here for lunch with a toddler in tow before an afternoon of biking in the park, and didn't regret it. The Door county scene is very adult-oriented, with some places not so friendly to parents with young kids. Not this place. They even gave our toddler a ball of dough to occupy her while we... More

Sometime a long wait for your pizza. We like to call in to avoid most of the wait. Pizza is good and reasonable by Door County standards. Pick up a menu when in the area.

We waited about 15 minutes to be seated but it was worth it. They have inside and outside seating. It was a warm night and we sat out side. They do have big heaters outside too. We had the Green and Gold pizza. Really enjoyed the chicken, spinach and cheeses on the pizza and the wood fire brick oven made... More

Also an interesting "little" restaurant...."little" being the key word. We went early and were able to get a seat...food very good. Caprese Salad with yummy bread. Excellent Vegie Pizza. A few days later we stopped by for a pizza to go. It was done very quickly and again it was excellent. This time we chose our own ingredients. This will... More

We had gone here the night before and there was a 45 minute wait to be seated....outside in the cold. They have very little seating inside...maybe for 10-15 people. We decided not to wait around that night since it was rather breezy outside. The next night, we decided to place a pizza order for pick up. I mean with a... More
