A must do outting.

We went to our first fish boil ever. The narrator was the best part. He historically filled us all in on the background of the fish boils. And, then the staff removes the bones from our Whitefish. And, all with a beautiful view of the Green Bay waters

Now that I am back home, I am seriously craving an Old Post Office Restaurant ish boil!!! It was my first fish boil and I am so glad I went! Here, the chef meets with you and gives you the history and explains how the fish boil came to be. They use fresh whitefish caught in the bay and boil... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a Door County native and we were not disappointed! We thoroughly enjoyed watching the boil master cook the food with the "boil over" being the highlight of the cooking process. The boiled food was delicious along with the best coleslaw I've ever eaten. The homemade breads and cherry pie were also wonderful. Our... More

I can't compare it to other fish boils but can say we (my 12 yo son, my 15 yo daughter and I) love the fish boils at Tho Old Post Office. The location is lovely with great views of the water, the preparation is entertaining, service is good (they debone the fish fillet for you at your table) and the... More

We had reservations for the 7:30 seating of the Fish Boil. However by the time we were checking in to our resort(Edgewater), the crowd was gathering up for the previous seating (5:30 ish). The fish boil was right outside out cottage, so we were able to sit in our patio and watch the first round of fish boil. Around 7:30... More

It was our second time to the restaurant. I have to admit the cherry pancakes are a personal favorite and the best I have found in Door County. The service is consistent and the food has been consistent both times we have visited. Definitely will go back next year!

The view is great, but the prices are high. Breakfast items are a la carte and prevented us from coming back. I've heard good things about the fish boil, but we've never had that here.

First you will need to call and make reservations; Fish boil times are 5:15, 6:30 and 7:45 PM. The cost is about $20.00 per person. Arrived a few minutes before your reservation, check-in at front desk and hostess will show you which table you will be yours. You can either sit on the porch or head to the fish boil... More

The fishboil is out of this world. Torch, the Boilmaster, is 4th generation Door County native and is very knowledgeable on the area. They are very accommodating and pointed out the extra touches that set them apart from other boils. Loved it!
