Went to a fish boil on Saturday evening. Had never been to one before. It was an awsome experience and the food was delicious, including the home made breads. The cherry pie with ice cream following the meal was fantastic. The wait staff deboned the fish, which was appreciated. Earl, the boil master, was a hoot. His jokes were corny,... More

Had a great breakfast here but ask for table in the room opposite the cash register if you eat here. The food was good and the service very good. Lot of interruptions with transactions at the register so would not want to sit in this room again. Convenient location within walking distance of our hotel a plus.

We went on a Friday evening, and it was our first fish boil. The boil demonstration was interesting and entertaining. After the boil, we were filed through a buffet line for our dinner. The food was delicious, and the waiters deboned the fish for the patrons. The complete meal included a non-alcoholic drink and a piece of delicious homemade cherry... More

Set in an old white building in Ephraim. The restaurant is small so during peak breakfast house you may have to wait. They serve a very good breakfast and the view overlooks the lake. Friendly staff and good service. We were told that the town of Ephraim is dry. So if you are looking for a drink with your dinner... More

Have Not Been To A Fish Boil In 20 Years (Really Don't Care For Boiled Fish, onion, Potato) But This Place Was Good. Little Pricey But I Don't Mind Paying If The Food Is Good And It Was. Make A Reservation !

We ate the fish boil at the Old Post Office in Ephraim, WI. What a fun experience with an excellent boil demonstration, fantastic food, loved the friendly, helpful owner plus we ate outside during a beautiful evening to enjoy the bay. In the process of the activities we met other very nice folks with whom we shared the evening. The... More

Had heard RAVES about Door County's fish boils - "if you go to Door County, you MUST do a fish boil." We did one - don't have to do another. The "Boilmaster" does 3 - 5 boils 6 days a wk and has been for many years. His schtick is delivered as if he has been doing this 3 -... More

Went there after church - the food was acceptable. No flavor in the egg dishes. Service was prompt and friendly, but nothing to write home about.

Excellent food, good quantity, some nifty entertainment (watching your dinner being prepared) and good atmosphere. Restaurants does not sell any alcohol, but you can bring your own. Ephraim is a dry town.

I've been to lots of Door County fish boils over the years, but this was the best. Staff is very friendly, nice ambience, great fish, and fabulous cherry pie. The real difference, however, is Earl the boil master. Not only does he give the usual explanations, but there is history, comedy, and warmth.
