We go there when we're in Door County twice each summer. Not the best value for the Pizza, the soft drinks or the gelato. We return because we like pizza and it is near where we stay in Ephraim. The vibe from the management is very disconcerting...very aggressive, talkative, "nurse Ratchet"-type pretty much runs the show and the kids that... More

We were staying near Joe Jo's so we stopped in for dinner. We didn't realize it but it's just pizza. I think they have a salad on the menu but otherwise it's pizza only. (Just an FYI.) The crust was nice and thin, not burnt and was good but for the price I would have hoped for something with a... More

A very inviting eatery that has pizza and gelato. While I can't comment on the pizza (it smelled great though), I can comment on the gelato which was absolutely delicious. The serving sizes are deceiving...if you think you want a large, get a medium...lot's more gelato in those little serving cups than you think. Staff was welcoming and efficient.

Yes this is Door County and yes owners have only a little time to make money but the NY style pizza for the size/price is a little overpriced. The pizza worthwhile, but a x-large will hardly be enough for two hungry guys. I have only ordered carry out but the service is quick and pizza hot.

We ate here in June on a Saturday evening and had a pizza & garlic bread. We also had gelato after our meal. Order gelato a size smaller than what you'd think as it is very heavy. It is also pricey. Our pizza was good although average. We were charged $4.50 for a glass of soda which we thought was... More

We are from Chicago and I can tell you without a doubt that this is the best pizza outside of Chicago. Thin crust is excellent ( if you are from NYC you may disagree). The Gelato is good too. Check it out, you won;t be disappointed. One thing, Ephriam is a "dry town" to there is no alcohol served or... More

Pizza was excellent, as were the breadsticks. Great, friendly service. Loved the gelato (we had the peanut buster, but they all looked delicious.

Our family of 7 went to Joe Jo's on a Tuesday night after a recommendation from a camp host at Peninsula. The thin crust pizza was very good (we ordered three pies with different toppings). I could see the staff tossing the dough in the back so we knew it was fresh. The service was spot on and they were... More

They have an open kitchen so you can see the cook throwing the dough. Was able to get a pizza- just for my son-only likes sausage and for me and husband and did not break the bank. Ingredients were frsh and loved the thin crust- not too thick. at the end- they have homemade gelato and very unique flavors. great... More

Nothing fancy about Jo Joe's just good pizza. Prices are real-world normal, not Door County normal. Enjoyed our visit there and had great service. The gelato is pretty good too. A fun little park next-door for the kid is a good side trip as well.
