This is the first time I am giving this a less than good rating. The soup bar is good, but our service was not. They completely mixed up my order, took a very long time correcting it, and did not attempt to make any service recovery. It is extremely overpriced. The surroundings are charming and the food was excellent once... More

This is a really neat place! The food was amazing but what I liked best was the staff! Everyone was so friendly. Very fun place!

The décor on the outside left me wondering what menu would offer, but we were not disappointed. (It was fun and colorful.) They had very tasty homemade soups and I had a spinach/bacon quiche that was very good. They were quite busy the day we were there, but the service was quick and friendly.

There is a soup buffet that has 5 choices. Almost every menu item comes with soup. I tried 2 both were pretty good. Had a $10 grilled cheese, averagely good. This place was good, wouldn't rush back, but good.

Super soup bar. Chicken wrap delicious, as is cherry pie. Huge flower baskets on porch & little gazebo room is a nice spot to sit.

The city for this restaurant might be Sister Bay, WI. Starting with the good comments. The people are very friendly. The garden outside the floor to ceiling windows is really neat. The restaurant has good tasting soups and the main courses looked great and fresh. But, the main course don't taste very good and my stomach wasn't happy afterward. They... More

Me and my family decided to eat outside on the patio and the wait staff was nice but we ended up spending $50 (including a 20% tip) for a family of 4. The food is very basic for the high price. Both of my kids ordered from the kids menu and one got a cheese pizza and one got a... More

We came in for a small dinner. Every thing was expensive for the food you would receive. The only small order was a bowl of soup and bread for $10.95. Not worth the money. Very disapointed.

During summer the Summer Kitchen offers homemade, authentic, Mexican food. We stopped in to try it and were blown away. The portions are large and the Mexican food was terrific. I had nachos with seasoned, slow-cooked, shredded beef, fresh tomatoes, Mexian cheese, homemade salsa, olives, lettuce and fresh jalapenos. It was enough to feed 3-4 people. My mom had the... More

When I was growing up, my family and I stayed in Ephraim every summer from 1991-2001. When I returned last week, I was excited to check out a number of old favorites, including the Summer Kitchen. I always used to order soup and a cherry sparkle. I really talked the place up to my husband. The (small) cup of chicken... More
