We stopped here for a beer and appetizer to watch the beginning of the packer game. Staff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed Wisconsin Brewing IPA and a the spinach and artichoke dip was plentiful with pita-like chips and served in a bread bowl. I enjoyed the hand-carved woodland creatures. The only drawback for me was that the atmosphere was... More

The style of the log den is just that - a beautifully constructed log building with magnificent carvings of animals on the doors and in unexpected places. Dinner has an upscale flavor but is within the average price range of any of the eateries in Door County. Has a fabulous Sunday brunch that we've enjoyed several times.

The log carvings were very sweet. The food was awesome as was the service. Very relaxed atmosphere. Reminded me of a ski lodge but still a wonderful experience.

I have dined in the Log Den 3 or 4 times and it has been ok. A place like this - the food has to live up to a big A Plus when it comes to their decor and property. It is SOO nice inside...the most north woods feel around. On the menu, I'd say - stick with what you... More

Have been here before & had good experiences. This time: had a reservation, no one at the reservation station, waited 5 minutes until someone came over to greet us; it took 1 1/2 hour to get our food; fish and veggies came from the freezer & were tasteless; the manager "apologized" by saying "why didn't you come up sooner?, you're... My wife and I were the only ones left waiting to eat and ordered burgers. The wait was about 35-40 minutes and the food was average. The log cabin lodge is immaculate. The service was below average and the burgers were average.

This is a beautifully appointed restaurant...a genuine log cabin set in a wooded glen. Has a lively patio for outdoor dining, but it was too cold the night we were there. The food in this restaurant is really good. I had the oar seam encrusted filet and my friend had the steak Diane, both entrees cone with a very decent... More

We were at a conference at the Landmark Resort and chose to eat at The Log Den with some friends. It is a large log cabin with a more casual atmosphere inside, but very nice. the prices were a bit higher than we expected, but the portions are very generous and the food was outstanding. Regular suppers come with a... More

Went there for Sunday brunch and while there was a good variety of food, it just wasn't very tasty. If you want quantity over quality this is your place.

I'm still irritated that a precious Sunday Door County dinner opportunity was wasted by choosing to try the Log Den. A couple positives: It is a quiet setting on a wooded property off Hwy 42, and the building and grounds are nice. Our waitperson was friendly and provided decent service (we were the only diners at the time). Lasagna soup... More
