Fun place

Had drinks at the bar first. Great drink menu and beer selection! Dinner was good. Group of 4. Honey corn bread was really good. Jambalaya was good. Salmon and dill sauce was good. Beef medallions were good. Tuna steak was overcooked but had a great sauce. (Listed as medium came out well... read more

This is a nice, upbeat spot downtown for a good drink and some interesting food. Is it "authentic" canjun? I'll leave that for the xperts to decide. But I do know that the crabcakes appetizer and shrimp creole were delicious. The drink menu is varied and has some good choices like the Oscar's Double Chocolate Oatmeal Stout.

Actually, I have not eaten at Stella Blues lately. One of the several times I have been there was for a corporate event. That time the food was pretty good. On other occasions it was just my family, and I was much less impressed.

I came here with my friends while visiting Eau Claire for a wedding. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the catfish with smashed potatoes and veggies and we shared the fried Wisconsin cheese curds as an appetizer. I didn't think I would like fried cheese curds but I was wrong. They were so good I didn't want to stop... More

The food was very flavorful and plentiful but the service of the sales staff was horrible. No follow up, placing blame on servers and never followed up with me before I left.

Dined alone on a weeknight. Many tap beer selections but nothing great. Shrimp Creole was ok just a little bland. Would be nice if it came with some bread. In a town without many original local options, its worth a try.

This was our second choice in Eau Claire, but our first option was closed...on a Saturday! I was kind of happy we went here instead. As we pulled up, we were treated to a view of co-play people walking down the street. It was a great intro to the experience we had. We walked in, and they had just opened.... More

A great selection of Martinis and friendly bartenders make for a great start or finish to dinner. The food is fresh and delicious. Get: Crawfish bites, cornbread and blackened catfish. My wife loved the salmon with dill sauce. Friends have said the burgers are also good. Finish with an almond joy martini. You'll pay for your meal here, but there... More

The meal I had at Stella Blues (chicken pomodoro - sp?) was INCREDIBLE. There is a restaurant in Iowa where the food is so amazing and the reason I started Trip advisor. Every restaurant I have visited after my first visit at this restaurant is compared to this place. Stella Blues definitely puts in a fight for first place! The... More

We stopped in for a family dinner. I had the terriyaki shrimp which ws gerat. I asked for potatoes instead of rice and they didn't have a problem accomodating my request. My son had the Volcano pork shank and he thought it was very tasty. My husband had the blackened salmon which was prepared to his liking. It was a... More
