My husband and I come here for special occasions, anniversary, birthdays etc. And we absolutely love it! We've never had a bad meal or bad service. I recommend Mona Lisa's all the time!

Eau Claire is a small town, this is as good as it gets. Midwest bistro ambiance. Decent wine selection and menu. Good service and classic continental/Italian food. Definitely a good choice for the area.

There menu evolves frequently so there is usually something new to try. Old brick buildings like this just bounce the noise around inside so expect to compete to be heard. Still recommend.

Everyone always references this as one of the best restaurants in Eau Claire. However, I've been here at least five times and am always left wanting. None of the dishes are extraordinary, and the food seems over-priced. In a big city, no one would ever come back to this place.

Last night well before closing (9:00) we stopped to have dinner. The place other than the bar was almost empty. We sat for 10 minutes before we even had a waitstaff person visit our table; yet there were 2 of them sitting there rolling silverware and a third one sitting on the table talking to the only other guests in... I have been coming year for years and I've never been disappointed. There have been one or two times when I have ordered something and it wasn't necessarily my favorite taste, but it was still amazing quality. Seafood is delicious here, the steaks are delicious, and even the pizza is pretty darn good. I definitely recommend coming here!

At at this restaurant at the suggestion of the young man at our hotel front desk., It was an awesome choice and I wish I lived closer to go back and try all the other items on the menu that also peaked my interest. Nice, cosy, romantic restaurant.

We used to live in Eau Claire so were very familiar with the atmosphere and quality of food. Of the many restaurants on Water Street, it's menu is head and shoulders the most imaginative of them all and the wine cellar is so extensive, there's an annual wine sale to clear out the cellars with all manner of vendors in... This restaurant is located on a street famous for drunken college parties (at least that's what I recall from the early 80's!), so I was surprised to experience such a nice menu, staff and atmosphere. I really like a good pork chop but almost never order one at a restaurant because invariably they are so over cooked you can barely... More

This is by far the best food in town. Excellent wine selection and delicious food. The Calamari is a given every time I go....it's the best I've had anywhere. Great ambiance in an old building on Water Street. Go early and sip some wine on the couch with friends while waiting for your seat. No reservations, so it's usually a... More
