Wife and I went tonight 12/18 & got two of their great burgers with choice of fries, 2 draft Millers, & plenty of popcorn! Total bill was $12.00. Great bargain with unique atmosphere. Note, the bathrooms are not anything to write home about. Has solid repeat customers.

This place has been around for years. High traffic with the employees of the courthouse/jail during the week. Usually very busy. Today we happened on a Saturday mid-afternoon and had the place to ourselves. Great food! Many options of tap beer. Bathrooms need some serious attention!!

Specials are great, love their fish and 2 for 1 burgers. LONG wait time. Classic bar food. Get there super early. After 530-6 just go somewhere else.

Love this place! Makes you feel right at home. Love the "local" atmosphere. Excellent burgers. Try the "Packer Backer" bratwurst burger! Outstanding! Good selection of local beers on tap as well. Attentive service from the staff. Bring your wallet as they don't take credit. Next time through Eau Claire, we'll be back for sure!

The Thursday 2 for 1 is an Eau Claire hit. But I love this bar for anytime beer pitchers and peanuts and hanging with friends. A great neighborhood bar for everyone. All ages love this place -- young and old.

Came here with my wife and another couple one Saturday evening. Hands down the best Bloody Mary's (and that's comparing to quite a few Twin Cities restaurants). Just the right about of Tabasco and pickle juice. No frou frou veggies either. Pickle and olives, like it should be. Ordered with burgers and fries, served in a basket, old school. The... More

Kind of a run down looking bar area. Food was surprisingly really good. Great burgers and salad. You can get a great meal on a budget. Very crowded on 2 for 1 burger night. Best bar burger in the city. Bathrooms smelled like urine. Stains on the ceiling.

Just go and do it already, you know you want to. And buy a bacon cheese burger while you're at it with a nice cold beverage.

If you are looking to go for a really good fish fry then this is the place to go. If you want to eat there you got to go early or do like my wife and I do and get it to go. Either way you will enjoy it. Eating there is a great time the owners are there and... More
