We have come back here many times always hoping next time would be better service. Food is usually good, usually. But never go here for a quick bite. Slow service makes me wonder if they forgot me. More than once I've had to remind them I'm still here. Unfortunate, could be a 4 star restaurant

Very good service, setting & meal. Breakfast is served until 5 every day. We arrived about 10:30 & sat outside on the patio. It was very relaxing. We had the Portabella Panini breakfast sandwich & Guacamole Eggs. Both meals were served to perfection. I will definitely go back.

Our group of 10 went here Saturday afternoon around 4pm and sat at two tables outside on the patio. I ordered the Caesar Salad and was told they were out of Romaine lettuce... but after some discussion with our server, they were able to substitute Iceberg which was fine. My salad was good, it came with a sliced chicken breast... More

Husband and I ate at The Grist Mill for lunch with my buy one, get one free Entertainment Book coupon this past Monday. Husband had a hamburger and fries and I had a chicken Panini and fries and they were both delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was very nice inside and outside. We will definitely... More

had pork medallions served over bed of salty mashed potatoes. adequate. Had a drink in bar during happy hour and a bottle of light beer and a small cc and H2o was $9.50 I thought that was a little stiff for happy hour. I will refrain from drinking alcohol next visit

We have gone to the Grist Mill for dinner, several times for lunch and recently for breakfast. We have enjoyed everything we've ordered. Sometimes the food we ordered was creative and top-notch (like the beer infused cheese dip) while other food items were very good but not necessarily unique. Every time we've been to The Grist Mill the service has... More

I have been to the Grist Mill four times. I have not been satisfied on any of my visits. We have had poor, slow and immature staff every time we go. The last time the waitress messed up and assumed my Mom and I wanted to split a breakfast instead of giving us two of the same breakfasts. The breakfast... More

We found the staff pleasant and our server, Haley, to be very nice and helpful. We both selected the Grandma's Meatloaf and wished she'd have tried something different. Plain and simple, it was just too much and over the top. It all had a good flavor, but over the meatloaf was a marinara sauce and bacon, with a huge pile... More

Really good traditional breakfasts. The staff's service is not smooth….its obvious there is no supervision. The atmosphere is good. The portions are big. Over several visits I've had a consistency problem when ordering from deeper in the menu…its a big menu.

I recently re-tried the Grist Mill at their new location after some bad service at their old location. It is sad that a restaurant with this good of food has such poor continuing service. Every time we are visiting we are constantly interrupting the service staffs social hour and being a smaller restaurant area it is not enjoyable to listen... More
