Everything on the menu is "stacked" and added to….burgers are tall with many extras, sandwiches are big. The chicken alfredo pizza was quite good. The short ribs (stacked) got a good review from my friend. The service turned slow right after we placed our order- 2 servers for about 16 tables (only 5 tables were occupied when we arrived on... We went to try their fish fry. The place is very nice and the waitress was attentive. We tried the macaroni and cheese appetizer first, which was surprisingly good. I had the pan-fried perch, which were nice sized and good. I was disappointed with the potato pancakes. They were not seasoned to my liking at all. The cole slaw on... More

We have visited the Grist Mill in the past and we're pleased with the service and food. This time the food was good but service slow. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and there were a handful of customers at 5:30. The waitress was nice but the service was slow and even slower for two sandwiches, meat loaf and grilled cheese.... We've visited this restaurant a few times in the last several months... sometimes it is really good, sometimes not so much. Sometimes service is great, other times hit or miss. There are not too many good places to eat right in this vicinity, so for a reasonably priced decent meal, this is the place to go. Allow a little extra... More

My husband and I stopped on our motorcycle to check out the menu and saw bogo bloody Mary's so I ordered one it was quite obvious the bartenders were not prepared and seemed very disorganized waited almost 15 minutes for them to figure out what to do since the mix ran out sat there patiently and finally asked if there... Husband and I went to The Grist Mill for lunch today with my buy one, get one free, Entertainment online coupon and I had the chicken ranch panini with cooked vegetables and husband had the Average Joe burger and fries and they were both delicious. Our server, Suzie, was friendly and accommodating. It took a while to get our food... More

We were very impressed with not only the food, but the service we received. The staff really made us feel welcome. Definitely the best fish fry we have had in the area. The after-dinner Grasshoppers are a delight!

We stopped in after the lunch hour for sandwiches. The wait staff was attentive and pleasant. Food was prepared in a reasonable amount of time. We had a Reuben and a meatloaf sanwich. The Reunen was substantial and it appeared that the corned beef was made in house as they used thick slices on the sandwich which was quite good.... More

We have come back here many times always hoping next time would be better service. Food is usually good, usually. But never go here for a quick bite. Slow service makes me wonder if they forgot me. More than once I've had to remind them I'm still here. Unfortunate, could be a 4 star restaurant

Very good service, setting & meal. Breakfast is served until 5 every day. We arrived about 10:30 & sat outside on the patio. It was very relaxing. We had the Portabella Panini breakfast sandwich & Guacamole Eggs. Both meals were served to perfection. I will definitely go back.
