Waited forever

Poor service , mediocre food. Find another venue. . Lived here 18 months and this place has always struggled with serving customers. Tonight we ordered a special and a blt and waited 45 minutes. They need to find another business .

I asked the cheerful server my go-to-query: "I’m from out of town. If I never come back what is the one thing I should try?” THE GRIST MILL ($12.99) An 8 oz. patty topped with two slices of bacon, fried egg, slice of grilled pineapple, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and I held the onion. It was huge and delicious! Granted,... More

We have eaten here several times in the last 2 years, most recent being this month. The pizza used to be great. Not sure what has happened lately but the food quality has sadly diminished. The pizza this time was very undercooked, turkey "reuben" was soggy and extremely greasy and the all-you-can-eat pasta was hit or miss. The chicken alfredo... More

There is a very nice feel to the Grist Meal restaurant. The menu is varied and prices are not out of line. We enjoyed our meal.

My wife and I ate a late lunch there yesterday. We had fish fry meals, baked cod and fried cod all-you-can-eat. Our food was excellent, they offer quite a nice selections of side dish options. We had sweet potato fries and sour cream fires. You get a nice slice of marble rye bread and a generous helping of really good... More

My DW and I recently ate at the Grist Mill, on a rainy, pre-weekend night. The restaurant had been recommended by a friend, who is fairly picky, so I thought we were in for a real treat. While the service was extremely friendly and efficient, and the dining room bright and clean, the food at the Grist Mill was just... More

We stopped here at dinner time on a Sunday evening. Actually asked the waitress if they were still open since we were about to be the only people in the dining room. She mentioned they are usually busy for breakfast/brunch on Sundays and it was just slow. We used a "text" promotion for a free appetizer. Saw a sign on... More

I wrote a review 8-9 months ago and believe was somewhat negative. I had lunch today and the service and food were excellent. Meatloaf sandwich with grilled veggies instead of potato. The veggies were prepared beautifully and were generous.. The sandwich was first class served with bacon and a side sauce on delicious homemade bread. I plan to return soon... More

Stopped for a visit one evening and ordered a large pizza. After 1 slice I started to eat the second when I chewed on a rather large piece of plastic. I pointed it out to the very young waitress who said she was sorry. I believe it must have come from the top of a zip closer on a bag.Seemed... More
