We are traveling through to see the beautiful fall colors and have the whole area to ourselves. Most restaurants and lodges are closed so we didn't have high expectations. What a pleasant surprise. Definitely put Riverstone on your list of top restaurants! I had the walleye and it was cooked perfectly... And the fall colors are spectacular!

I have read many of the reviews on this restaurant, and they range from excellent to very bad, to terrible, as I have rated. This is truly a Jeckyl and Hyde type place where it seems that it is hit or miss when you dine there, never knowing what personality will show up. In our case, four people from the... More

This restaurant has nice ambiance and great service once you are seated. My dinner and dessert were good but a bit pricy; especially in the north woods. Still an overall positive experience and worth the visit.

Food was good. Nice menu. super desserts. A little expensive for a Wisconsin restaurant. Nice view. Good beverage selection and wonderful homemade bread

We wanted a special birthday dinner for a friend. A "classy couple" from Texas told us about Riverstone. The were right --- it has excellent food, fine options and personal service. It was as fine a dinner as we had hoped for. Go for it!

Riverstone is probably the only nice, fine dining place in Eagle River. It's sorta out of place next to all the other fireside lodge type places. We've been to Riverstone several times when their fine dining section is open, and it's quite nice, actually, certainly an unexpectedly good wine list and some very fine high brow cuisine. However, this year... More

I go there quite often. We had gone for lunch, obviously they were caught off guard with the amount of people coming in to eat. I asked about that, and sure enough that is exactly what happened. If you're into wine, or specialty martinis, they have a good tasty selection. I will be back again, and I hope they have... More

I just had to write a review of the Riverstone after reading some recent reviews on this site. This was our third visit, and this time we brought another couple to enjoy the beautiful restaurant and delicious food. They, too, were impressed by the personal attention given by the owners. Our service has always been efficient and friendly; this time... More

We have a place nearby and I would love or rate Riverstobe higher. However, their service is extremely slow, like wait an hour for your food slow. It's one thing if it was a one off experience, but all 3 times we ate there this summer it's taken over an hour for our food to arrive. That's what drove me... More

Chose Riverstone for a special night out with my parents (the first one in years). Unfortunately, nearly every part of the experience was lacking. They seated us (five adults) at a booth which was, let's just say, cozy. Don't think "fancy restaurant" booth - think diner booth. It was, however, deep enough that the wait staff couldn't reach in to... More
