I had heard about the amazing wine list - and it is - but could not grasp how beautiful the restaurant would be, how friendly, what great service and what incredible food would be offered. The entire trip to the Northwoods this past November was a culinary dream, with Riverstone at the top of the list.

Four of us enjoyed Friday fish in early November. There was no need for a reservation although the restaurant and bar were steady but not packed. This is a family friendly restaurant and seems to have many locals who know the staff. The kitchen and serving area are open to the bar which is pleasant and unexpected. There is a... More

I have been here several times over the past several years and it seems to be that the portions are getting smaller and the price is going up. Their food was excellent several years ago, but the quality has gone down. I won't be back. The quality just isn't there for the price anymore.

Dined there last Saturday, 10/26/14 with my two sons ages 20 and 21 Poor is the best I can say and it's hard to say that. Service was extremely slow. My one son ordered a bacon and blue cheese burger medium and it came out well, well done. Our server was kind enough to advise us that she didn't cook... More

We are traveling through to see the beautiful fall colors and have the whole area to ourselves. Most restaurants and lodges are closed so we didn't have high expectations. What a pleasant surprise. Definitely put Riverstone on your list of top restaurants! I had the walleye and it was cooked perfectly... And the fall colors are spectacular!

I have read many of the reviews on this restaurant, and they range from excellent to very bad, to terrible, as I have rated. This is truly a Jeckyl and Hyde type place where it seems that it is hit or miss when you dine there, never knowing what personality will show up. In our case, four people from the... More

This restaurant has nice ambiance and great service once you are seated. My dinner and dessert were good but a bit pricy; especially in the north woods. Still an overall positive experience and worth the visit.

Food was good. Nice menu. super desserts. A little expensive for a Wisconsin restaurant. Nice view. Good beverage selection and wonderful homemade bread

We wanted a special birthday dinner for a friend. A "classy couple" from Texas told us about Riverstone. The were right --- it has excellent food, fine options and personal service. It was as fine a dinner as we had hoped for. Go for it!

Riverstone is probably the only nice, fine dining place in Eagle River. It's sorta out of place next to all the other fireside lodge type places. We've been to Riverstone several times when their fine dining section is open, and it's quite nice, actually, certainly an unexpectedly good wine list and some very fine high brow cuisine. However, this year... More
