Stopped in for an early dinner yesterday, burgers were only okay. My husband ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger and the mushrooms were cold. The worst part was the "service", no pleasant words from the server, food almost thrown on the table and no drink refills. I expect a server to be at least pleasant when I patronize a restaurant;... This rustic northwoods bar/restaurant has more choices for your burger than any other. All the burgers are on a ciabatta bun and are 1/3 pound (you can also choose chicken if you don't want a burger). The toppings on the burgers are enough to be a sandwich in themselves. Each burger comes with the best homemade chips. Most all burgers... More

Not sure who created the initial listing, but it won't let me submit the correction. It's a short distance north of downtown Woodruff, on west side of Hwy 51 on Brandy Lake. It was a very good burger place. Not fancy, just burgers. I had a patty melt - very good. My wife had a bacon cheeseburger that she also... More

We stopped here on our way to the UP. The atmosphere is very casual, peanut shells on the floor and alot of mismatched chairs and tables. The service was a little slow. Our burgers were very good, so the wait wasn't too bad. The homeade chips were excellent! Great Bar Burgers!

This was probably one of the worst burgers I have ever had. I ordered the mushroom bacon burger. When it was brought out, I lifted it out of the basket and there was nothing but a greasy mess under it, also it was way under cooked. My wife had a plain cheeseburger, it too was way undercooked, she could not... More

My family and I stopped in for a meal one summer afternoon. The menu is BURGERS! There are also some staples for kids...like chicken tenders and a few other common kiddie foods. Three of the four of us ordered BURGERS! i had the burger with jalapenos (fresh) topped with swiss cheese. I loved the contrast of the spicy jalapenos with... More

Stopped here on a Sunday and only a few customers. However, I had read great reviews, so we were game. A surly, unfriendly waitress made our meal unpleasant. It seems she just wanted to ignore us and take her sweet old time. But the ciabatta buns, perfectly grilled hamburger, and deliciously fantastic homemade potato chips more than made up for... More

Seriously, this place is all about the burgers....I didn't notice much else on the menu, but then I wasn't really looking. The burgers were perfect, and they had some really interesting combinations of toppings. I had the Cajun burger, and it was seasoned to perfection! I would have given this restaurant an 'Exellent' rating, but the service wasn't that great.... More
