Hamburgers

Stopped by for a burger and was pleasantly surprised. The hamburgers were huge and the menu boasted several different variations from your standard to the mildly hot to flaming. Ordered the cheese curds appetizer. Most places give you 5 or 6, but this was like a whole bag full! Prices were... read more

This was in Arbor Vitae, WI not Eagle River. Great burger, GREAT cole slaw-wow! Fun atmosphere, great bartendar. Very small, so get there early. We ate with 3 teens, they got burgers, the Westerns & one Sticky Burger-AWESOME. Hubby and I had the fish with baked potatoes. Outstanding. Great staff.

We saw they had fish fry last Friday so the eight of us stopped for dinner. My sister in law, her mom and grandmother got the all you can eat fish, they all enjoyed it. My two niece's and son and I got burgers oh my, the burgers were good and juicy. My youngest son ordered a choose 3 appetizer... More

Stopped by for a burger and was pleasantly surprised. The hamburgers were huge and the menu boasted several different variations from your standard to the mildly hot to flaming. Ordered the cheese curds appetizer. Most places give you 5 or 6, but this was like a whole bag full! Prices were reasonable as well.

Ok, some folks won't like this place at all. Plywood floors.......peanuts on the table and shells on the floor. Big horseshoe shaped bar and very noisy. A rowdy north woods place. The menu is essentially burgers......huge burgers...and pizza. The place can make just about any burger you can imagine; i had the green chili version and I like it a... More

Stopped in for an early dinner yesterday, burgers were only okay. My husband ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger and the mushrooms were cold. The worst part was the "service", no pleasant words from the server, food almost thrown on the table and no drink refills. I expect a server to be at least pleasant when I patronize a restaurant;... This rustic northwoods bar/restaurant has more choices for your burger than any other. All the burgers are on a ciabatta bun and are 1/3 pound (you can also choose chicken if you don't want a burger). The toppings on the burgers are enough to be a sandwich in themselves. Each burger comes with the best homemade chips. Most all burgers... More

Not sure who created the initial listing, but it won't let me submit the correction. It's a short distance north of downtown Woodruff, on west side of Hwy 51 on Brandy Lake. It was a very good burger place. Not fancy, just burgers. I had a patty melt - very good. My wife had a bacon cheeseburger that she also... More

We stopped here on our way to the UP. The atmosphere is very casual, peanut shells on the floor and alot of mismatched chairs and tables. The service was a little slow. Our burgers were very good, so the wait wasn't too bad. The homeade chips were excellent! Great Bar Burgers!
