Visited on a Sunday around 11am, parking lot was packed but the wait was only 20 min. Wait time was accurate, no more, no less than 20 min. Very good variety of breakfast choices. Omelets, skillets, pancakes, & sandwiches. The portion seemed a little small, but nonetheless, very good. I don't know of many other breakfast joints within downtown Eagle... More

We stopped for lunch. Very warm in the restaurant. A/C was not working. Food was hot and tasty. Service was a little slow, but good. It was very busy.

Exactly what I'm looking for in a Northwoods cafe that serves a hearty breakfast! Very busy, but they keep people moving and the wait for a table of 4 was minimal. Service was OK. Food was outstanding all around. Prices are really reasonable. Will return time and time again.

The breakfast food here is always tasty. The portions are large, the staff friendly and efficient, and the restaurant is always clean. It's a good place to see locals and start your day.

Walked across street from the days inn for dinner. My father and son and myself had the "special" chicken and dumplings. None of us could eat what was served because it was all salt and a huge pile of what i think was stove top dressing on chipped chicken and canned gravy. Certainly not real dumplings or gravy and very... More

My wife and I stopped in for a beer and some appetizers one afternoon and found this place to be very comfortable along with a nice variety of tasty selections for thier appetizers. The atmosphere was very casual.

OK. Quick review. This is a cafe. It looks like a cafe so don't expect a fine dining experience. My wife had a Rueben, which she said was below average. I had a hamburger that was overcooked but tasted good anyhow. The fries and onion rings are pre-frozen so taste like fries and onion rings in every mom & pop... More

Dined here the first week of June. I had the Chef's Salad and it was fresh and huge. Other people in the party had wraps which also were very good. Good size portions. Very homey. Highly recommend.

Overall very good. Chicken and Dumpling was very good, light and fluffy massive dumpling. . BLT Club on marble rye had lots of thick bacon and turkey. Cranberry chutney and turkey sandwich was served on a soft and warm roll with a bit too much (believe it or not) thick bacon, but was very good. Omelet was big and a... More

Stopped here because the Supper Club we were hoping to stop at was not open for another 45 min and we were too hungrey to wait. Service was quick and friendly, food was homemade. We went back for breakfast the next day and had the fish fry Friday. Both also very good and all at a great price. Will stop... More
