My husband and I live in Eagle River and are familiar with all the restaurants listed on this site. Sweetwaters is, by far, our favorite. Their sandwiches are huge and great-tasting. Pizza is fantastic. Their wings on Wednesday nights are so wonderful, and only 25 cents a piece! The staff is so friendly and efficient. This restaurant is our "Cheers".... More

Stop here many times in the past traveling home from the up. Food was always good. Just stopped in for a light lunch...so we ordered their 3 appetizer deal for 13.00. Jalapeneo poppers, predictable. But the mini chicken tacos(light hard taco shell with mexican tasting mush inside) and mini chicken quesidillas( long straw with the same tasting mush). Terrible. Should... More

Cozy, attractive northwoods style tavern/restaurant with good, hot food and friendly service. Love the sweet potato fries! Great drinks as well...what's not to love?

There was a lot of food for the price and they have a nice menu with a lot of variety. There is a lot of sports things to look at on the walls. You can see the water from the bar. They make good homemade pizza and sandwiches. Friendly place.

This is one of our favorite lunch spots on the entire chain! We come here often by boat and the lunches are always very good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is very nice and north woodsey. In the summer you can dine outside as well. We would recommend it for lunch but there are better places for dinner if you... More

We were staying at the Hiawatha Motel next door & decided to walk to the Sweet Water. It was really busy. There was no table open so we grabbed a stool at the bar to wait. It was probably 20 minutes later that we were seated. The waitress came right away & took our order, & the order came real... More

My husband and I went there twice in one week. Went for dinner the night of the All Star baseball game, after all it is a sports bar. Lots of sports memorabilia displayed nicely in a "log cabin" type bar/restaurant. However, when we walked in, all the tv's were turned to regular tv, except for one. We asked for the... More

Listed to waitress complain about sore feet. Then turned away a table of 5 ten minutes before kitchen closed and still served a local what he wanted. Very disappointed in overall attitude. Pissing on a gold mime.

This is another of our must stops when snowmobiling. Very well run bar and restaurant. Great food, great service and just a fun place to have a bite to eat lunch or dinner.
