The daily soups alone are worth the trip. My favorite is mushroom bisque but you cant' go wrong with any of their soups. I highly recommend the Tasty Turkey sandwich for lunch (my default favorite) if I am not tempted by their creative daily specials. Even when I am back in Los Angeles, I follow the Cooks Room FB page... More

Stopped for lunch and had the special harvest ham sandwich and cream of artichoke soup. Both first rate. Sat in the front window, which was okay, but discovered the much more cozy back room on the way out. Lots of tea and coffee options.

My initial attempt at a Chicken Caesar Wrap at the Cooks Room was quite disappointing nearly a year ago, but this week I decided to give it another try, hoping improvements had been made ... this time the wrap was PERFECT. It was so good, I went back the next day for another ... and then two days later for... More

Invited a new friend to lunch. I had never met this person or visited this restaurant. Service was excellent and food selection was great. Primarily services local residents but was well worth a trip for me

We stopped here for dinner after reading previous reviews. The atmosphere was great, the service excellent, and our food was delicious. The owner stopped to talk at each table. We were definitely not disappointed.

We came to visit the House on the Rock, and asked about a good place for dinner. We were delighted to find this little gem. It looks like a simple home cooking style cafe, but the food is imaginative and delicious. I had the "special" which was flounder served with bok choy and cilantro over linguine. My husband had the... More

Joe and Vanessa have taken very good place for coffee and lunch and transformed it into an excellant place for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. The staff is engaged and very friendly in this N'awlins Bistro atmosphere. I would say French Bistro, but I have never been in one. Its hard to pick a favorite entree but the Tuscan Asian Tuna... My husband & I celebrated our anniversary here. The atmosphere is romantic. We sat in the upper lever. The food was excellent. I had salmon & my hubby had steak. Both were nice size portions and offered an excellent selection of veggies. The prices reflect the quality of food. The service is friendly. Give them a try and you'll be... More
