Lunch in Depere

We drove around forever looking for a lunch restaurant in the small town of Depere, near Green Bay. Most reviews were scary, but Nicololet's had decent reviews. Let's start by saying that this is a breakfast place and I'd guess that they are pretty good at that. However, it was about 2 pm and we... read more

Nice variety of classic breakfast comfort foods and daily specials. It's a diner feel with friendly wait staff.

Just order the clock puncher...simple but a timeless favorite. I've been dining at the Nicolet since my uncle brought me to the old restaurant as a child. The food has remained consistent in its "home cooking" style over the decades.

It's been awhile since I've had a charbroiled burger with so much flavor. The prices were very reasonable, and the service was incredible. They also have a nice selection of breakfast pastries. Thank God I was stuffed after lunch!

While only eating here once, I could tell that this is a place where consistently good food was served. There is quite an assortment of fresh bakery items right in the front counter, and the food and service was very good as well. It can be quite crowded on Sunday morning after church, so you might have to wait to... More

Nothing fancy, average. Not horrible. Hash brown are totally weak. Smells like old grease in the building. Bread is awesome though, yummy homemade.

We've eaten at the Nicolet Restaurant numerous times in the past 5 years, since our family moved to De Pere, and have never been disappointed. You can always expect a good meal here. Their soups are great and they have different options daily. Their desserts are all homemade (and yummy!) I recommend 'the camp' panini or the farmers feed, but... More

If you're just hungry and want a decent meal with good service, good coffee, ample portions, consistent quality, and fair prices, this is a De Pere standard.

We loved the food and the atmosphere, perfect family dining experience. I enjoyed the acknowledgment of its previous incarnation as a train depot.
