Fabulous group luncheon with 30 people. Excellent service, great menu choices to please salad, sandwich and vegetarian tastes. Lovely atmosphere, too. I have eaten breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner over the years and was always pleased. We were impressed by how Sheridan's handled our large group!

Being unfamiliar with the south end of Milwaukee area, Sheridan's was a real find. The lunch menu was heavy on the brunch items, and my Greek omelet was delicious. My dinner partner had the South Shore burger which was not the best ever eaten, but very acceptable. Food presentation was exceptional, as was the decor of the restaurant. Upscale decor,... More

While visiting my family in Milwaukee, my daughter & granddaughter suggested we meet at Sheridan's for breakfast. When I arrived, I realized I had been there many times in the late 60's when it was called The Fountain Blue... and even then, it was a great place! I was utterly amazed at the renovation... the beautiful decor & wonderful ambience!... More

We ate here twice while staying at the Sheridan House, and will gladly come here again when we visit Milwaukee. We noticed that it was popular with the locals, and is probably the best restaurant in the area. Everything on the menu is well planned and very well prepared. Service was friendly and prompt, and all in our group of... More

We recently had brunch at Sheridan's after staying at the Inn. Lovely atmosphere, excellent coffee in a lovely location right off Lake Michigan. Will definitely be returning.

We have eaten at Sheridan's for several Thursday Date Night Specials, Friday Fish Fry and for several Breakfasts and their food is always consistently YUMMY! The best clam chowder that I have ever tasted which is offered up on Fridays! Dishes are fresh tasting and unique...from appetizers to desserts to their morning specialty coffee drinks. Wait staff is friendly and... More

The server was terrible and acted as though that was the last place she wanted to be. Also my salad was a downtown price for a Cudahy salad. Very disappointed.

This is a charming and elegant neighborhood restaurant close to Lake Michigan. We were visiting family nearby so it was convenient. Also delicious! Great atmosphere, very attentive servers, and quaint bathroom. (They provide rolled up washcloths to dry your hands.) My first stop when we make another visit.

I've been to this restaurant on several occasions, with good experiences on the taste and quality of food. Most of those experiences have been for brunch type setting. On several occasions I've questioned the speed and efficiency of the staff with minimal results. On my recent visit we had a larger group, and made a reservation ahead of time, which... More

Went to Sheridan's this past Saturday night with another couple. This was a first trip for all four of us. We found everything to be wonderful from the atmosphere, food and staff. They have an outstanding patio with a fireplace, which we hope to use soon if it warms up. The prices are reasonable and the food had great presentation.... More
