Small and cozy.

If you are looking for a very laid back place to have a great glass of wine this place is for you. It is very small but it is very cozy and fun.

Frequented by locals this bar in quaint and comfortable inside. Ben (the owner) makes some of the best drinks that I've ever tasted and I will always trust his recommendations as they have been spot on.

Ernies Wine Bar is just a bit outside of the downtown area. It's named after the owner's dog, who has gone to the great wine bar in the sky. Small but has terrific selection of premium wines and several good beers. Also a full bar. Free pistachios as well.

I have visited this establishment a few times while in Cedarburg with family. Ben, the owner, makes a killer Old Fashioned! My family and I love the atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit when in Cedarburg.

So, it looks like a road house on the outside. Who would suspect it has fine quality wines and grant ambiance inside? You will, that's who!

Ernie's is a place that we feel the need to go to make our yearly spring getaway to cedarburg complete! My wife and I enjoy the romance of this quaint establishment! Ben the owner is a friendly man who is always busy attending to detail. He is attentive to polishing the wine glasses to make sure they are perfect for... More

I'm not sure there are wine pubs, but this is one. They have a great, inexpensive list by the glass or bottle. They also have beer, hard liquor and bar snacks - pistachios, M&Ms and even cheese crackers made by the owner's wife (yum). The owner is always behind the bar, but don't call him Ernie, that's the name of... More

I've read the reviews below this, and let's be real, folks: no one should mistake this for an establishment solely dedicated to wine. Instead, understand that this is a comfortable, colorful, local bar which just happens to stock and pour an excellent selection of wine, too. The bartender does chat more with regular customers but easily warm up with first... More

Had some good wines, but way over priced. Very poor service, bartenders ignored us and never greeted us when coming in. Rude to my wife when asking about desserts.

My wife and I stopped in by way of a friends recommendation. We're glad we did. This was a great way to end our evening. The wine and beer selection is very good. The atmosphere was relaxed. We will definitely make this a more frequent stop.
