Interesting decor!

We stopped in for a Bloody Mary before checking into our B & B which was nearby. The bartender (owner?) was very congenial, and made a great, regular bloody. Didn't even have to ask for a beer chaser! If there's any lull in conversation, check out the photos, jokes, etc. covering all the walls... read more

Walking in the restaurant was a bad feeling and should have alerted me to the rest of the visit. The carpet was well worn and probably had soaked up a lot of drinks over the years. The signs on the walls and ceiling covered the dirt and wear Service was good. My hamburger was almost warm in the middle. Now... More

Don't miss visiting Morton's on the corner when you are in Cedarburg. A visit there is most fun when they have a band performing. It's a tiny place but it's lively!

Wisconsin+Friday=fish fry! This was a disappointment. We were a party of 4. I had the pan fried walleye-- delicious! My husband was also satisfied with the bluegills. But our two friends had the cod and were not happy. The breading was heavy, and one of them thought the fish was too greasy. The biggest disappointment were the potato pancakes. We... More

We've eaten at Morton's somewhat regularly since moving here 5 years ago. It's been about 5 months since our last visit and tonight was very different. The place was not busy-at all--and our waitress was curt and "busy". When my husband asked her to repeat the beer list. She said " I don't say it the same every time" Helpful.... More

I finally stopped here after a two-year hiatus. 1. They make the best Bloody Mary's in the world, which I finally stopped in for after 2 years off. Don't go for the up charge for their infused vodka, it's not worth the extra $$. 2. Look for Extras In Your food. Once I got part of a scouring pad. I... More

My husband and I were in Cedarburg and decided to try something different for lunch. After finding that the local Mexican restaurant didn't serve lunch on the weekends, we ended up at Morton's. It's a "local color" sort of bar, one block west of Washington Avenue, that serves some mighty good food. I ordered the special for the day -... More

My husband and I have stopped in Morton's for years. It used to be a "must-stop" on our list when spending time in Cedarburg. The bloody- marys were incredible. Unfortunately, I think we made our last visit. We stopped in a Saturday afternoon, no one else in the place and we felt as though we were bothering the bartender by... More

This is a great little corner tavern that is especially convenient if you happen to be staying at the Washington House Inn. The ambiance/atmosphere is eclectic and humorous. The food..... well not of the fine dining sort of thing is still very good. The burgers are great and the haystack onion rings are something you can't find very often so... More
