Great Restaurant in Historic Building

Took a couple out for dinner to celebrate special occasion and had a nice delightful time. Sat at the bar and had a drink first. The back bar had been restored to its original bar 120 years ago. There are tables in the bar area and a couple rooms in the back with tables. We chose the one in the... read more

During a family weekend trip to Lake Geneva, we found this restaurant when we wanted good food and couldn't get in to anywhere decent in Lake Geneva. We took a chance and found a gem!!! The ambiance is awesome. We enjoyed the attitude and humor of our server. One of the owners stopped by to chat and was very personable.... More

The three thumbs are for the food, the atmosphere and the service. This restaurant calls itself a tavern, but that needs a bit of an explanation because it's housed in an historic tavern that dates back to the turn of the century. This is a tavern with lots of atmosphere, including a huge mahogany bar, tin ceilings, antique tables and... More

This was my third visit to this great little place. Housed in a restored barber shop the owners have done a great job of preserving history. The bar is stocked with what you would expect but a little short on he single malt scotch front. The Drunken Ribeye and NY Strip are incredible. This place is well worth the trip... More

Large group of stopped by for dinner. The restaurant was welcoming and fun. The staff were pleasant and helpful . The restaurant is interesting inside but if you look beyond the memorabilia its looking little tired. Food good and plentiful.

I have eaten here twice, and once now since there has been new owners. The service was good. The waitress was very attentive to our needs. However, I ordered the chicken and it was rather tough.

Took the wife out to dinner here on the recommendation of a friend. Food was good, service was good and the atmosphere was good. This is not a place for kids, as there is no kids menu. Room for improvement would be on the menu, which is limited and a bit on the pricey side.
