Arriving around 130 from a long trip on the road we found the food to be very fresh. Closing time was 200. The two waitress took care of the whole restaurant. The service was quick and pleasant. Large portions of pork loin sandwich was chicken tenders were fresh and hot. The potato cheese soup was thick and full of potatoes.... More

Town Fryer is a family tradition, we visit family in Burlington, we go for breakfast at the Town Fryer. Food and service for breakfast was great, good prices. You won't find anything fancy there, but you can some Mexican breakfast items if you choose.

We eat breakfast here with our grandkids 4-5 times a year. Etc!)We order takeout chicken 1-2@ month, and having tried it at 8-9 different restaurants discovered theirs is by far the... More

I love this place! I've only ever ordered eggs or breakfast here. They do a great job, they serve great coffee. You're greeted by your waitress almost immediately. Serve your beverage quickly. Your order is taken quickly. And the food arrives fairly fast! I was surprised. The food was hot and tasty.

I enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. The food is basic but inexpensive home cooking. I had cod and I'm pretty sure they were frozen, but for under $7 I wasn't going to complain about that. my companions also ate well and without much financial outlay. On this visit the waitress was rude, hence no five stars, however the vast... More

Grew up around this quaint little diner filled with German decor. Recently visited home and stopped in for a very busy fathers day breakfast. Amazing service and caring, small town attitudes made for a warm and familiar experience. Recommend the Town Fryer for locals and visitors.

The wait staff were terrific, couldn't be friendlier or more attentive. However, the rest of the place left quite a bit to be desired. Average food and below average atmosphere. At least it was cheap!
