Good Go-To

Good fresh sandwiches, salads, eggs, and bakery ... a great go-to when everyone likes something different. Each person fills out their menu upon entry and then hands it to the staff behind the line ... kind of cafeteria-style, but the food is significantly better than any cafeteria - haha. I'm quite surprised that this restaurant does not have many more reviews. It is my favorite place to go for lunch or brunch. Their quiche and salad is always top notch and the service is consistently excellent. This is a great place for lunch with family or friends!

It was a little bit busy when I went there with my daughter for lunch last month and that might explain the lack of attention. The food, though, was just so/so and nothing to write home about. It's a cute little place in the Sendik's shopping center. Not sure if they are open for dinner but it seems to be... More

Have eaten here twice (2012 and 2013) and both times unimpressed with the food. And the most bothersome was that the restaurant was very dirty every time....crumbs all over the carpeting. etc. etc.

Had lunch here today. I'm a vegetarian and ordered a sandwich, they give you build your own options, the vegetable and bread selections are good, but the spreads are pretty boring your usual mayo, mustard, etc. I asked if they had hummus and the lady behind the counter snapped back no, then I asked if they had olive oil and... We had some of the biggest and freshest sandwiches we've had in a long time! They were out of Sour Dough so we settled on an onion roll with cheese and marble rye bread. Both were superb and the onion roll had nice Black Forest Ham with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato. The marble rye bread enjoyed horseradish and mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato,... More

An interesting way to order. You fill out a form with your choice of items from the menu and drop it off at the counter rather than verbally explaining what you want. Seems to work pretty well. The food was very good and the variety and ability to customize your order are much appreciated by those of us who are... More

My husband and I very much enjoyed our lunch at the Loaf & Jug today. My husband loved his omelette and blueberry muffin. I don't think I've ever had a better salad. I liked the poppyseed dressing so much that I asked about buying some. To my surprise, they do sell 12 ounce bottles of all of their homemade dressings... More

I have been a patron of Loaf & Jug since they were located at the Stonewood Village - the food is all homemade from the pies to the quiches to the salad dressings. I have never been disappointed. Went with a work group today who had never been there before and all loved it - one of my all-time favorite... More

Love to go to Loaf and Jug after church...but they open a little later than usually works on an Sunday. Other than their hours, this is a great little restaurant to stop in at . Great food, all seems homemade.....not a chain restaurant in the least.
