PS23 (as us locals know it) is a true gem to have so close to home. The food is so much different than much of the other restaurants around. My favorite selection is by far the Pork Fries. The baked macaroni and cheese combined with a myriad of proteins (Bacon, Chicken, Etc) is also fantastic. Great ambience and great staff.... More

Visited with my family for lunch and was very surprised how generic it was. All of our entrees were fine but nothing special. Restaurants should make every plate look great before serving it to customers not just put food on the plate and send it out. I got a pizza on a flatbread and it was just fine. My wife... More

Great patio, delicious food and attentive service. Good wine selection as well! The pork loin, beet salad, short ribs, creamed corn and Mac n cheese are some of my favorites.

Went on a Saturday without a reservation at 5:30 PM. Were immediately seated. My daughter and I ordered filet and salmon with a house salad and a caesar salad respectively. Salad was good and fresh. I would estimate the filet was all of 3 ounces quartered and served with caramelized onions and greens . My salmon was two fingers wide... More

Went with a group of people and shared some appetizers: caprese flatbread, creamed corn & pork fries. They were all good but the pork fries were the standout - the combination of cheese, pork and fries was too good to pass up. I had the chicken dumpling soup which is what you'd expect and want from a dumpling - light... More

We were visiting family and they chose this restaurant for Saturday evening dinner. Very crowded and we didn't have a reservation but got in very quickly. All four of our entrees were different and we all loved the food, beer and wine choices. Red pepper risotto was superb and cedar plank salmon the best.

For fresh, local, healthy and well prepared food served by friendly and attentive people, you should go to Parkside 23. The outdoor patio is great in warm weather too. PS 23 offers a nice variety of beers and wine along with tasty specials so you don't bored if you eat there a lot like I do.

I have been here twice and both times had the braised beef short ribs. The meet was fork tender, with only one tiny piece of fat. The mushroom sauce was excellent. The potatoes were quite good as well. Everything about this dish was delicious. My friend had the Cobb salad and she said it was good. I would highly recommend... More

I must admit I wasn't a big fan of this restaurant when it first opened. Two things turned me off: the organization of the menu (dishes organized by price rather than the traditional appetizer, entree, etc.) and frankly, the food was just average. After avoiding it for a while I gave it another try a few months ago and found... More

While traveling for business, we stumbled across this restaurant and were excited to see that it was healthier food options, straight from their own on site garden. Not always easy to find when traveling. The waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu items and specials. He provided my colleague a few recommendations and was personable. The first was a new...
