I like to have lunch here anytime of the year but the atmosphere is a bit cold for a nice dinner. Food is delicious and changes seasonally.
I concur with some other reviewers. Some of the food is bland and the worst sin - dry. The asian lettuce wrap appetizer had a good amount of tofu and mushrooms and was decently seasoned. The raw zucchini spaghetti and meatballs was good but overpriced ($17) for zucchini shavings and 3 small vege-balls. The Jamaican jerk lentil burger was dry... More
If you need to eat good vegetarian food, please don't go to this restaurant . There is too much hype. They know to cook nothing. You pay high price for how they arrange the tasteless food on the plate. You can visit any local Indian Restaurant and get a very tasty Vegetarian Food for half the price. You will have... More
Dear Mr. Suresh: We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your visit to Café Manna in which you thought our food to be "tasteless". As I am sure you are aware, we cater to a broad spectrum of tastes and dietary needs. While some patrons feel our food is too spicy, others believe it to be too bland. It seems... More
This wonderful vegetarian restaurant is closed on Sundays. Once or twice a month they have a fancy & informative cooking demo on Sunday. I went to one today - Winter Skin Care. Great!. I go to all classes.
We ate here on a quiet Saturday summer afternoon, not peak hours. The patio seating is very pleasant and private (surrounded by landscaping). Service was prompt and courteous, no complaints. We tried two sandwiches: a roasted vegetable sandwich and a mushroom/black bean burger. The food was well executed; it put smiles on our faces and elicited "yummmms" from our stuffed... More
Most of the entrees are labor intense, so there is a wait after ordering. I have dined here around 8 times, the pizza is average, and some of the choices are good, but one of the beverages, a green concoction, is hard to choke down. I have been there with several friends, who also didn't care for it. Service tends... More
This is a vegan/vegetarian restaurant. For my tastes the food was just too bland to be enjoyable. However, based on prior reviews, others find this fare right up their alley. To each his/her own. A couple of small points, I do think wine should be served in wine glasses, and water served with ice and without scents. Having condiments present... More
We went here for a late lunch. The server explained that the restaurant was ecologically sustainable as well as vegetarian, and local whenever possible. This alone made me very happy. However, the food was also good! We had a vegetable pizza, the broccoli and cheese soup and a piece of carrot cake. The pizza was thick and filling and had... More
I met a friend for dinner last night. The place was pretty empty at first, but then filled up a bit later. Our waitress was pretty attentive, although there were lags in between. We really didn't mind because my friend and I hadn't seen each other in a while, so we were catching up. They have a pretty good gluten... More
My friend Barb and I recently ate at Cafe Manna in Brookfield, Wisconsin. She had been there before, but it was a first for me. This restaurant is in the Sendik's Towne Square shopping area. Barb chose the exotic salad with greens, avocado, mango, jicama, quinoa, and other vegetables, served with a mango-lime viniagrette. She said it was tasty, and... More
