Great dining experience. Shrimp appetizer, salad, soup and blackened scallops were amazing. I also tried the beef wellington and was equally impressed. Wasn't expecting this high of quality food and service. This is a must stop if you are in Boulder Junction. Best meal I have had in a very long time.

We have been here 5 or 6 times and usually as a big group of 10-14 people. When we're up in northern Wisconsin fishing, we set one night aside from grilling at the cabin to go into town and have dinner at the Guide's Inn. The menu is diverse and eclectic. Rack of Lamb, beef wellington, a black forest schnitzel,... More

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner here over the weekend. I had the pan fried walleye, which was absolutely delicious, and my husband had the rib-eye steak. The Guide's Inn staff is very attentive and kind, and very knowledgeable about their menu. We had a wonderful server named Rachel. The food is incredible, and worth every penny. We highly recommend it... More

We dine here several times each summer and have never been disappointed. Love the menu. Best walleye, veal, and scallops. Jimmy's ho-made ice cream is to die for.

Love this place, the chef cares so much about each person there and everything you are eating!! WE couldn't believe it but we were there last week and my husband got a rib eye steak and ended up getting a end piece. Well the chef decided it wasn't good enough and brought my husband a second steak because it wasn't... More

I have eaten at the Guides Inn a few times over the years and have always enjoyed it. I recently took a group of nine. I admit I always order the walleye because I love it, either stuffed or pan fried, so I cannot attest to the deliciousness of any other menu choices. Our group ordered a variety of entrees... More

Our family vacations in Manitowish Waters each summer (for a week) and has for the last ten years. We are always looking for new restaurants in the area to try during our stay. This year's new restaurant was The Guide's Inn in Boulder Junction. I must say, our entire party of seven (this includes our two, young grandsons) were completely... More

Our extended family of 14 dined here last week and everyone was pleased. They start you off with a nice plate of appetizers, followed by delicious soup and salad, and a wide choice of entrees. I had a veal dish with Gruyere cheese, tomato and onion. Unusual and excellent.Others in our group enjoyed the duck, rack of lamb, walleye and... More
