Good service and good plentiful food. The type of food associated with the upper midwest. Comfortable honest food. Sit back and relax

Just came back from breakfast and I can barely move! Great food. Had biscuits and gray, hashbrowns and side of sausage. The portions were about twice the size that I expected. The staff was friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back.

Very cute restaurant, outstanding service. I'd say their food is a little better than most family restaurants, but they're still stuck in that family restaurant sort of cuisine. The place is nice enough to take a date, but maybe not the first date, or the one where you pop the question. More like when you're comfortable with each other and... More

There food is excellent. However, don't waste your time on there Dinners for 2. They claim they are served family style. You can order a 3 pc dinner and get more food--only benefit is the cookies. Though I said one peanut butter and one chocolate chip. We got one chocolate chip and one M&M. The manager said she was sorry,... More

If you are in the area, stop in for a bite to eat. This place is gorgeous...all beautiful wood inside. Huge Elk mounted on the wall. Very cool. So glad we came here, I would definately come again when in the area. We came on a Friday night and had the fish fry. Hubby had the Walleye and it was... More

Stopped on our way home from a day trip. Always heard good things about the food. Restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived, Staff was having a meeting with the employees. You could hear everything being said. Ordered our food with the waitress, and could hear the cook tell her we were not going to get what we ordered. (and that... More

We spent the day at devils lake and was looking for a place to eat, the GPS took us into town and just happened to find this place by chance, lunch was very tasty, a bit pricy compared to similar meals not in a tourist area. Food was real good and staff was very nice. Restaurant was very clean and... More

Due to a bad situation at a local hotel, we needed to find breakfast. This place looked okay and it turned out to be more than just okay. First everything is homemade, there are no corners that were cut. The meals are large, you get a lot of food for your money. You could easily split a plate between two... More

The Log Cabin was a great restaurant. My wife and I ate lunch there and were impressed by the service and the high quality of the food. The menu is varied and has ample gluten free options. The pies are unbelievably good and highly recommended.

We were on our way out of town and spotted this restaurant and decided to try it. The service and food was very good. They bake all their own breads. the cinnamon swirl toast was excellent. We had breakfast, however, all the pies looked really good too.
