Good food, good portions, good prices, friendly staff

This place, like the hotel it's in, is under new management. The owner is working out the new menu, drink specials, etc. I got a pizza and the portion was so big and very cheesy (yum!) that I could never eat it myself...also had a side salad that was nice and fresh. Definitely a worthwhile... read more

The Manager Ken was very rude! The burgers were dried out and cold by the time it was served to us. Worst experience ever. The atmosphere would be nice if it wasn't so cold , the food might stay warmer as well. The food is over priced for the quality and the service. Honestly would rather eat out mcdonald's. I would... We were staying at the Attached Best Western, so we had dinner there. Fish tasted fine but was a little soggy. Waitress was nice but we decided to go back there after leaving a Concert at HoChunk...At the time it was mostly a 50ish age group in the bar..The DJ Felix was playing some today style dance music that was... not sure what is going on, new owners? new wait staff? under staffed? Not busy on an early Friday night, service and food was very slow, and prices $$ $9.00 and up for a burger and fries in a hotel bar? too many other places to eat in the area, skip this one.

Menu is very small. Service was poor. Food took forever and the place was empty. We will try something else next time in town.

Decided to take a chance on the restaurant connected to the Best Western where we stayed. We had the special which was the prime rib and it was some of the best prime rib I've had in a long time; seasoned perfectly, cooked just as asked, tender and plenty of flavor. Came with sides and salad. There were two sizes,... More

The menu is now 1/3 of what it use to be. New "cook" , our favorite waitress left too. The fish fry was not as good. Even the salad was less fresh like it sat in a cooler already made up. I know before it was made when you ordered it and i could tell. Everything was worse and even... More

2 for 1 drinks during double bubble aka happy hour. Peggy Sue was our friendly bartender. Food was great. No complaints!

We ate here while staying at the attached Best Western hotel. We were greeted immediately by a very friendly waitress. My husband had the Flat Iron Steak and I had the Philly Sandwich, both came with a choice of 2 sides. The food was very good and the service was very fast and friendly. The price was also very reasonable... More
