OK - we drove 50 miles specifically for their blueberry pancakes. LOVE them. They're loaded with little wild blueberries & the flavor is incredible in a buttery, fluffy pancake that's over the top delicious. They do also offer Pecan pancakes, buttermilk, & others. The hasbrowns were also cooked to perfection - non-greasy, yet with a buttery flavor. And their salad's,... More

We found this on tripadvisor and it was on our way home from the Dells. They were close to closing but welcomed us in for the last meal that day. Very much a diner with a quirky sense of style and knick knacks! We'll go back again.

This place is a total throwback! Charming and old-timey. We always make a point of visiting this place - worth the drive up f. Madison. Diner food, but unusually good. Tomato florentine soup during a recent visit was outstanding. Several items for vegetarians. Good service, great ambiance. Popular among locals

I come here for the great food and old fashioned charm. I love the breakfast and lunch menu. I feel the price is good too. Nice folks work here and the service is good.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for breakfast on our way back home from Devil's Lake. I was a little iffy at first just because it looks quite old, but once we got in and sat down I was impressed. The atmosphere inside is older looking but very nice, clean and comfy. Coffee was great. We both had omelets which... More

Food was good....but not that good. Cheese beer and sausage soup was good but a bit salty. Service great and atmosphere above average

I'm a huge pancake fan when we are on the road. Theirs were good. Coffee was nice as well. The whole place screams old world charm. It's my sons favourite place for breakfast, I like it too and judging by everyone else in there, it's a winner!

Stop here today for breakfast/lunch. First impression was very quaint, like we stepped back in time. The restaurant was neat and clean. A sign at the entrance invited us to seat ourselves. All staff we passed by on our way to our booth acknowledged us with a smile and greeting. I opted for the breakfast special: Sunrise Breakfast Casserole w/Fruit... More

First off, I own a business. This treatment is nothing close to any way I would treat MY clientele which is where I stem my comparison. My husband and I weren't greeted when we came in which set the tone-frowning faces from ALL employees was evident. After 15 minutes of waiting to order we looked around the 'old', dusty and... More

I have been coming here for awhile food quality has been declining along with the portions. Fish is like eating fish nuggets and I get a order fries and they give you about 7 pieces.
