Nice old place

A 1930 restaurant with old ambiance. Very friendly service and good food. Bacon Mac and cheese was great. Turkey club good. Rhubarb pie excellent. Highly recommend if you in the area.

Food was just okay. Cajun chicken was blah, turkey burgers good, pancakes were the best of all. Cute restaurant and prices good.

Random stop when driving though town. Took advantage of the breakfast all day with the family (3 boys, 8 and under). Very good food and friendly service.

The wooden high backed booths in this restaurant give you a private cozy feeling while enjoying your meal here. The food is quality food, with unique food dishes to choose from. There are even healthy options to choose from... not just fries or hashbrowns!!

From out west visiting the area and stopped in for lunch at this cute friendly cafe. Great soups and sandwiches. The turkey burger was the best I've had in a long time. We liked it enough to go in for breakfast on our way out of town which was also great. Try the potato pancakes. Yum. Friendly staff and welcoming... More

My husband and I ended up in Baraboo by mistake and are so glad we did! It was lunch time, so we parked in the quaint little town square and started to walk around looking for a place to eat. We happened upon Jen's Alpine Cafe. It didn't look like much from outside, but upon entering, it felt very warm... More

We just love going to Alpine Cafe for brunch or breakfast, on a weekend. It offers charm, friendly/prompt service, and excellent food! I recommend the pancakes and eggs benedict. Very kid friendly, and great prices too. You can pay with cash or card. Just love the classic diner vibe you get here. It's in downtown Baraboo with ample parking out... More

Had a nice meal here on a Friday evening.Had never been to this place before and wanted to try a new place. Food was good, decent prices. There are real neat decorations and lighting. Our waitess was efficient, hostess was real nice. I enjoyed this place the only thing that could of made it better was if the coffee would... More

My wife and I ate at Jen's for breakfast on Sunday morning and enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much we went back for lunch on Wednesday. The food was delicious and the small town diner atmosphere was intoxicating. It took both of us back to our younger years when it was such a treat to "eat out"! The waitresses... More
