I love this restaurant. When I lived in Baraboo this is one of the restaurants I would always bring visitors to. Great food at reasonable prices.

Located in town....one way street. Name is on the canopy outside below the big Alpine sign. We missed it the first drive by. When you open the door, you feel like you are back in time. Friendly wait staff. Cozy private booths....love the wood/mirror details. My husband ordered the Hungry Man's Breakfast which is 2 eggs,2 bacon or sausage, hashbrowns and... More

Jen's has a great old fashioned ambiance with a solid breakfast and sandwich menu. It's a nice place to relax. Everything is always great and they are known for their pancakes and homemade soups. What doesn't get a lot of attention is that they also have great pies.

This is an old 1930s high-end cafe with the original decor. Lunch menu was mainly the usual burgers and sandwiches but there were a few surprises. I had the 'chili parfait' which was chili-con-carne layered with elbow macaroni, topped with cheese and sour cream. Not the very best chili I have had but quite tasty all of the same. Service... This place is a true representation of the days long ago in Baraboo. It is like stepping back in time for me. You know you are at a great place when the locals gather here. As people come thru the door most of them were greeted by name. it was easy to feel right at home....... I have been here... More

The atmosphere reminds me of what my grandma us to take me to when I was a kid. The booths are cool, a little tight if you have excess weight, but they have tables too. They have a lot of antiques throughout the café and it makes it homey. The food is outstanding. I eat here alone or with business... More

I had the broccoli/turkey/cheddar cheese grilled sandwich and it was super tasty! The soup was hearty and homemade and the waitress genuine and friendly. Would definitely recommend walking around the square in Baraboo and having lunch here!

I've been to this place twice and both times I ordered the special. This time it was chicken and dumplings; last time it was salmon patties, a delicacy that is very rare in these parts. Both specials were excellent. I also enjoyed the hamburger vegetable soup. With a coke (free refills) the bill was just over 12 bucks. Jen's may... More

We saw the specials as we walked by. $4.50 seems to be their price for their daily breakfast special. First day we both had the 2 egg, potato & sourdough toast. Like my title above says "solid". 2nd day the special was French toast w/sausage patty, she ordered a fruit parfait which was not a special. All good in this... More
