Good Mexican food for great prices

This place is much more humble that the big Mexican place in town, but also much more authentic. It seems to be run by a family, and not everyone is fluent in English. The decor is class real Mexican style, with lots of bright colors and hand painted furniture. Several of the customers were... read more

Typical local Mexican decor with colorful chairs and tables. There were literally no lights on in the dining area, having trouble paying the bills or just tacky it made the dirty restaurant more grim. Complimentary chips and salsa that tasted like tomato sauce the chips were fine but mostly broken. The combo meal I had #12 a taco and quesadilla... More

Lunch special prices just can't be beat - our whole bill was $12 for all the food we could eat. Waiter was very friendly and attentive. Loved the sweet sauce served with our tortilla chips. The ceiling could use a good cleaning around the air vents, but other than that, was a very good experience.

We have been here before and thought it was ok food. Stopped on our way through this time, which will be the last. Food is mediocre and we were all but ignored. Took forever to just get a server to place our order, food came pretty quickly, but our server never returned. When the food was delivered, I was given... More

Tired of hamburgers for lunch we decided to give this spot a try! Crazy fun server who said "My Friend" at least fifty times during our visit. By the time we left we shook hands and he was our friend. Over sized servings means on our next trip we will split a meal. Home made everything from salsa to chips... More

nothing to dislike, even if you don't like mexican food, stop in for a drink and check out the amazing paintings! Food is very good, and lots of it! Start off with homemade tortilla chips and salsa, and go from there!

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants my husband and I have been to. I have Celiac Disease and must eat Gluten Free and they were VERY accommodating. The most noteworthy thing about their food is that the "fillings" (inside the burrito and the enchiladas) were wonderfully flavored. Many times at Mexican restaurants, they are just stuffed with plain... More

I will start with the good. I really enjoyed the food. I had Fajitas and they were very good. It had good flavor and was a large portion. The chips and salsa were ok. I am used to a little better grade of salsa at places like this, it was good just not as good as I am used to.... More

So the wife and i stopped while travelling thru. Service was good. Food was good. Prices are a good value. They could pay a little more attention to the cleanliness of the place. The blinds on the windows and the ceiling tiles were pretty disgusting.

The food looked delicious, in fact we took pics. Once we stuck our forks in and started to eat we were VERY disappointed! The beef in the burritos was SO TOUGH you couldn't eat it. The food was very bland. When we asked for hotter salsa it tasted like they just added hot sauce not spicier ingredients.
