We had heard about Monks and decided to check it out. We originally were going to goto the Dells one but the traffic was horrible so we decided to goto the Baraboo location. We went to monk's after the Classic Car Show in Baraboo 7/26/15 my husband had their naked wings appetizers and what he liked about them is that that give you a Bucky Badger Bucket of several different sauce's plus what ever other sauce you want on the side and they have the celery stick's & carrot sticks which a lot... We actually ate at two Monk's on this trip - the one in Wisconsin Dells and the one in Baraboo. Both had good food, good service and were reasonably priced. I slightly preferred the Baraboo location, more because it had a more local feel instead of touristy. Our waitress was excellent. I would go back.

Great place right on the square. Tons of TV screens and great nachos (I barely finished the half order!). Kids menu was typical. Wife had a steak salad and some wine. Would recommend!

A group went to Monks prior to the Thursday night concert on the Square in Baraboo and enjoyed a good meal. Their food is always delicious and reasonably priced. Great beer fries! If you are a sports fan, they have plenty of screens to watch sports too.

Good spot for burgers with the family. Wife had loaded nachos and the half order was big enough for four people. Service was top notch. Definitely be back. The southwestern chicken sandwich was really good as well. Ask for the spicy mayo to dip your home made chips in.

Visited with family and friends for a late lunch in July. We ordered cheese curds, various sandwiches, and some different microbrews. The cheese curds were good. The sandwiches were good but nothing out of this world. I ordered 3 beers. Why 3? Because the first 2 I ordered (even though they were on the menu) were not in stock. Our... More

After visiting Circus World Museum, we were hungry and tried the Driftless Glen and found out that that establishment did not offer what we were hungry & thirsty for (burgers & Margaritas) We we're so happy to find this establishment. Exactly what the doctor ordered! I was a little hesitant after visiting the Sun Prairie, WI. location and finding lousy... More

We really like the food, and the kids meals come with frisbees, which they loved. The downtown one is tight, and not a lot of seating, but the other one is more like a regular restaurant. We will go back.
