Yummy!

The Little Village Cafe is a great place to eat. If you go, the Goat Cheese Appetizer is phenomenal! Everything I've had there is good, the service is attentive and the interior is comfortable. Give it a try. You will like it.

Was looking for something local, and certainly found it here. The waitress worked like a whirlwind, would certainly hire her if I had my own restaurant. Food was great, and ambience was quaint and rustic. Would definately visit again if I am ever in Baraboo again.

Little Village Cafe on the square in Baraboo is quaint, full of charm, hospitality, and delicious food. "She" had the Black Bean burrito and I had Blackened Catfish dinner - both were excellent. Deliciously spiced, not overbearing, but fresh and tasty. Dining on New Year's Eve at the Little Village Cafe was a perfect compliment to our day - thanks... More

Four of us ate there before going to the Al Ringling Theater for an evening performance. It's quite small and therefore seems crowded. The food was terrific, the salad the most fresh I have had in quite awhile (it's winter here!). The only downside was my friends were disappointed in the size of the margaritas. The bartender did let them... More

In addition to being a really cute restaurant with super friendly and efficient staff, the food is great. There are always inspired specials on the chalk board. The soup is usually to die for, as is the bread that accompanies it. I love the fish tacos, the burritos, the jerk chicken sandwich and be sure to try the goat cheese... More

We visit Baraboo to hike and often eat at the Village Cafe. Great food that is way above the typical local cafe. This is a classy restaurant that takes pride in serving tasty food. My friend is gluten free eater, and they are happy to help her.

We searched for restaurants south of Ho Chunk on our way to Devils Lake State Park and arrived at this restaurant. It is a great find. It has a good variety of beers and wines. The restaurant is cozy and has a decor of an old fountain cafe, complete with circular counters and fountain stools. It also has tables and... More

When at the Dells, we have been eating for years at the Log Cabin. Good May and pa type of fare. The wife and I decided to change our menu and give the Little Village Cafe a try. Situated on the corner of the Baraboo Square, it was easy to find and parking is ample. There are tables outside and... More

A ditto to what other reviewers have said - this place is consistently great and I try to visit it whenever I'm in Baraboo. Always, always order the baked goat cheese w/ olive oil, capers & red pepper and a side of bread. It's a great way to begin your culinary experience. This time I ordered the Moroccan chicken which... I live in Madison, but whenever I'm in the Baraboo area, I consider it a wonderful treat to eat at Little Village Cafe. The atmosphere is "vintage shabby chic diner." It's very comfortable, but the food is far more upscale than its casual surroundings imply. The offerings the night I visited most recently included butternut squash ravioli and zucchini bisque...
