Absolutely lovely

I have been coming to this restaurant as a local for over 15 years. I have always been pleased. The servers are always friendly and well-informed of their menu! Highly recommend to anyone passing through or staying in the area, or any locals who haven't been!

Versatile menu - pleasing to kids, for lunch (sandwiches, burgers, salads), or for a posh night out. The burritos are a great value, and wonderful flavor. Anything with a filet of tuna added rocks. The mediterranan wrap is a super lunch!!

I went here with my boyfriend and we ate some okay food. They said they didn't have any fries today, or American cheese and for some reason when you order an entree it comes with those round nacho chips and a very very chunky salsa. I had the special of the day which was like a sauteed mushroom and some... More

Hi, I really enjoyed your review. Especially your use of the word "like". First off I would like to correct you about the burger. It is 1/2 pound of choice sirloin. It is $8.50 not $10.00. It is offered with lettuce, tomato, onion etc. Your friend didn't want any veggies. We do not serve the chips and salsa with main... More

The Little Village Café is an Outstanding dining establishment. There is nothing like it in Baraboo. We've eaten here ten or fifteen times, and we've never had a poor meal. It's not your usual steak and potato place. It's menu is fairly eclectic. They have Moroccan, Mexican and Jamaican dishes on their menu. It's the sort of place one would... More

My wife and I stopped here midday for a late lunch after visiting the International Crane Foundation a few miles away, and we both enjoyed the ambiance and excellent service. I had the stuffed burrito which was OUTSTANDING, my wife had the Greek Salad which she said was "Okay". Staff were attentive and friendly and prices are moderate. I would... More

The aroma as we walked in the door was the first thing we noticed. It primed us up for a delicious dinner. I had the jerk chicken sandwich and my husband had the chipolte chicken burrito both were awesome. Definetly would come here again.

The Little Village Café in Baraboo is a real trip - back in time. The atmosphere takes you back to another era. The restaurant looks just like the old photos on the wall; carpet, furniture, fixtures, everything. ...except the food, which is totally modern and delicious. Everyone talks about the goat cheese appetizer, and now we know why. While eating,... More

The Little Village Cafe is a great place to eat. If you go, the Goat Cheese Appetizer is phenomenal! Everything I've had there is good, the service is attentive and the interior is comfortable. Give it a try. You will like it.

Was looking for something local, and certainly found it here. The waitress worked like a whirlwind, would certainly hire her if I had my own restaurant. Food was great, and ambience was quaint and rustic. Would definately visit again if I am ever in Baraboo again.

Little Village Cafe on the square in Baraboo is quaint, full of charm, hospitality, and delicious food. "She" had the Black Bean burrito and I had Blackened Catfish dinner - both were excellent. Deliciously spiced, not overbearing, but fresh and tasty. Dining on New Year's Eve at the Little Village Cafe was a perfect compliment to our day - thanks... More
