Great food in a casual setting

We had St. Patrick's Day lumch at the Coyote Roadhouse and the corned beef and cabbage were excellent. It was served with new potatoes, carrots, cabbage and rye bread, as well as green horseradish. The menu all looks good and we will be back.

I choose the Reuben. It was good but I would choose something else next time. Sandwich was big. Took home half and finished it the next day. I have had the fish fry which is excellent. Key lime pie was great. Service was good. We always eat here when we stay at the rushes. Fun decor. Seems to have locals... More

We had the cheese curds, ham and cheese sandwich and Friday night all you can eat fish fry. Cheese curds were good, the sauce with them was different and really good. Not the best we've had, but good. Sandwich was good. The fish was nice and lightly breaded and not dripping with oil from the fryer. Would definitely have the... More

Small and unassuming right on the shores of Kangaroo Lake. Rustic decor with good, honest food. Great Kanga-Rueben sandwich! Slow cooked in house corned beef piled high on dark rye. Quesadilla hors du' oeuvres plenty for a meal. Daily specials sounded great...turkey pot pies, which sell out by 3pm (order ahead) according to our host. All you can eat Grouper... More

Coyote is one of the few restaurants open during the dead of winter. We stopped in on a weeknight to find a quaint little restaurant/bar. We were pleasantly surprised at the good service and food. I had the jambalaya, which was excellent and my partner had the steak- very tasty! We will return!

I like everything about this little fun bar/restaurant. My lady friend says they have the Best BBQ ribs she's ever had---and that is quite the compliment, as she is a world traveler.

The Coyote is a year round dining option and rises to the occasion. The staff is great and the food is consistently well done.

Seems like limited staff is an issue with many patrons. There was only 1 person handling the bar and the dining area when we went on New Years day. She must have been a bit stressed as she was rather rude to me and my group. The food was fine and the atmosphere was a little cramped.
