This place is great! We go every year. I can't wait to have the haystack onion rings! To die for! Great specials. Had the turkey pot pie special last year. Loved it! Go early if going for dinner.

I ate here in February. Most places in Door County were closed for the winter. The roadhouse served good food at reasonable prices. The staff was very warm and friendly. It is located in a picturesque area of Door County

We went on the recommendation of our campground owners and wanted a casual dinner out on Friday night. It was our family of four and mother in law. The service was great, very friendly hostess, bartender and waitress. My husband and I both like baked fish but they don't have baked, only fried. Their all you can eat fish fry... More

Enjoyed bantering with other customers while drinking and dining at the friendly bar. Onion loaf and ribs are fantastic. A fun place with great food and drinks.

This is bar food. It is pleasant to sit outside by Kangaroo Lake. My husband had a burger and I ordered the rueben sandwich. The fries are the frozen crinkle cut ones so they are not from fresh potatoes. I ordered the sandwich with the German potato salad which also turned out to be not homemade. The corned beef was... Coyote has probably the best fried onions I've had in a long time. They fry and serve thin sliced onions in a block. Wonderfully crisp, good flavor, not too greasy. The chili was also quote good, though not a prize winner. But our other sandwiches (reuben, perch and blue cheese burger) were very pedestrian. The fries were awful. Service was... More

The ribs here are truly the best I have ever had in my life. The staff is friendly and always welcoming. Nice outdoor seating area when to enjoy the weather. Price is extremely reasonable. Great beer selection - a true Wisconsin gem!!! I would recommend you make this a mandatory stop when you're in Door County.

Went on a weekday and found the place busy. Staff were very friendly and kids liked to use the tree swing and bean bag game while waiting for food to come to the outdoor table. The food was good and reasonably priced. Scenic view over Kangaroo Lake enjoyable.
