We walked to The Mason Jar from the Greenbrier, it was just over 1 mile. Had a nice lunch crowd. Buffet looked good but we ordered a Cobb Salad and Cheeseburger with chips. They were both good. The salad was served on a dinner plate but very fresh and tasty. Service was good. The only thing we didn't care for... More

Found this using Trip Advisor on our way home from OBX. Nice atmosphere, clean, home cooked food. Onion rings were awesome and so was Philly cheesesteak.

Our waiter was very polite. The barbecue buffet looked tired. The salad buffet didn't look too fresh either with limited dressing choices. I ordered the lime cilantro chicken. I heard someone in the kitchen say that they thought that was taken off the menu. I got two pieces of chicken but the weren't lime cilantro. They said they didn't have... More

The place inside is really cozy, it's also possible to eat outside. I have had the best fries with bacon and cheese on top ever, they were amazing!!! I loved the steak and cheese sandwich with peppers and mushrooms. The restaurant also offers a buffet for a good price. Staff is kind and helpful. I definatly recommend this restaurant for... More

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to have a quick, light lunch. We happened upon this place and thought we'd give it a try. It seemed to be nice mix of locals and tourists. Simple decor and unpretentious. The servers were very nice and the fried tomato BLT I ordered was delicious! Good value too--the sandwich with... More

this downtown restaurant is on the main street in the middle of town. the buffet consisted of meatloaf and fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, a breakfast bar with eggs and bacon; generally simple fare, and drinks served in mason jars. a local hangout with reasonable prices and no pretentiousness.

Located on main street of WSS city. The decor is pretty decent. They serve lunch & dinner buffet as well as a la carte. Buffet during weekdays cost one around $9 to $12 per person & consists soup, salad bar, & main course which is a good filler. Service is friendly too. Buttermilk fried chicken sandwich on a la carte... More

The lunch buffet was quick and a good value. Menu had nice variety. Cute, restaurant for a casual meal if you need a break from the dresscodes at GreenBrier! One warning -- the taco salad is really a plate of nachos with very little lettuce. Still good!

My kids had to reorder because they ran out of chicken tenders. They were also out of kid menus, so I had to read the options off a tablet computer, which I found awkward. The food was decent. Service was a bit slow, but maybe it's a cultural thing since I experienced slow service at every restaurant during my trip.
