Best fish around

If you love fish, Colemans is the place to go..been there forever. Anyone that has moved from area makes sure they make a trip here on return. The Canadiam whitefish is to die for. Have a great variety of fish off sale. They are known for their fish sandwich. Best inthdvalley

Daytripped to Wheeling to Paradox Bookstore (recommended) and was told don't miss Coleman's. Short and to the point, fish sandwich was tepid and soggy and onion rings cool and greasy. Won't be back.

This is a place where most folks born and raised around go at least once on a visit back. Fresh, fried fish sandwich on white bread. OMG. I know it's wrong on so many counts, but it's good on so many more. Don't miss it. Great lunch stop while you are exploring the market area.

A lot of different smells so if you are very sensitive to smells this is not the place for you. You can pick out your own fish or live lobster. You get a ticket with your number and wait 10 to 20 minutes, depends on how busy they are. When your number is called you pick up your brown paper... More

This is the one of the best fish markets in the country. You can purchase fried fish and also fish, etc. to take home and cook yourself. When people who grew up in Wheeling and moved away, this is one of the first places they go to when they are in town. GREAT FISH!!

This place is great. The people are very Friendly. They had a booth at the Wing Festival in Wheeling and had deep fried Frog Legs. They were great!! Their Fish is also a legend in the tri-state area, so if your in or passing through the Friendly city of Wheeling please stop by, you wont be disappointed.

Coleman's has been a place we visit almost every Friday. I've been all over the US and have never tasted a fish sandwich that can beat Coleman's. Has been a valley favorite for many years and has almost become a destination point for many travelers. It is located in "The Old Market House" that has been around since the turn... More

Got in there about 10:30 a.m., an excellent time to go, before the rush begins. I was picking up basic fish sandwiches for a co-worker and myself, and as always they were superb. There were 5 other customers there. If I would have any complaint, it's that the wait was 7 or 8 minutes. In one way it's no problem,... More
