Based on reading the reviews here I opted for ordering my dinner for take out. Yes, dining and bar areas are small, however when I showed up to pick up my order I found the atmosphere to be very festive and intimate at the same time. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Enjoyed the chicken parm over cappellini with 2... More

We were driving from DC to Michigan and were looking for a place to have dinner. Our car GPS pulled up this place, we did a quick check viaphone internet and it had good reviews. At first sight we could tell that this was a small local place with a lot of cars parked outside. Interior nice but not fancy,... More

We found this restaurant on tripadvisor.com when we stopped for supper in Wheeling. The place was busy but we were able find seats at the bar. The staff were friendly and Mario, who is part of the third generation family who runs it, was friendly and has a deep roots in Wheeling. The food was excellent. My husband had the... More

This local establishment has been a tradition in the Wheeling area for many many years. You must try this place when visiting Wheeling. It is small so around dinner time you can expect to wait half hour to 45 minutes for a table. Sit at the bar have a drink and enjoy some local small talk and then enjoy the... More

Coming from the NY/NJ area it's tough to find a really good Italian restaurant in the SW PA/WV area. This place is small but nice. Only about 10 tables with chairs or booth seating, and 12 bar stools. They updated the bar area with flat screen TV's and you can order drinks there too. The food is very tasty and... More

I usually order blue crab ravioli with vodka sauce-not on the menu at this time but usually included with mentioned specials or just ask. Friday night-best lobster in town. Marinara and meat sauce-home made Dessert-ask about their peanut butter pie Weekends are busy-wait to get in. They are open for lunch and dinner. Bar in the middle of restaurant-can eat... More

Love this place for the service, and food. It is a great place to unwind with a glass of wine after a long day on the road. The Hampton Inn will take you there and pick you up. The tortellini is fantastic, and a great wine selection too. You can certainly tell that it is a very popular local place,... More

If your a regular you MIGHT get reasonable service! The owner of the place wandered around like he thought he was some Vegas celebrity chatting with some of the obvious regulars and walked right past our table without so much as a hello. The waitress was too busy chatting with the bar patrons (which are seated right in the middle... More

There are several better places to have an Italian meal in wheeling. We were so disappointed by the quality of our food. It was packed this night as well and so cramped. Felt like sardines. Seating areas need an update as well.

Went there as a referral from a local and boy what a great tip! Place was nestled in a nice neighborhood just like all of the good mom and pop restaurants used to be. Had to wait for a table but we'll worth it. Food was great. Personal attention from owner was sincerely genuine. Servings were generous and pricing was... More
