Let me first preface by reiterating my title of my review - if you have visited this place under the previous management, you need to go back and give it another try! So much to say and being as this is the first review for them on TA, I'll give you all I got. We drive 45 minutes from Winchester... More

This is a great find in tiny Wardensville, WV. There's not much here besides gas stations, a gift shop or two and a dubious-looking family diner. Lost River Brewery is the perfect place to relax and refuel after a hike in nearby George Washington Forest. The interior is lovely, dark wood and a couple of tree trunks incorporated into the... We ordered pulled pork sandwich and a hamburger. The portions were immense and all was quite delicious. Terrific value, too.

Casually upscale, a bit trendy feel in a very small-town. Worth the drive while staying in Yellow Spring. They also have a sister restaurant that we love called trick dog in Irvington VA.

My wife and I dined here yesterday. We ordered the baked salmon and the crab cakes. I must say that both entrees were excellent. We are both from Maryland and were very pleased with the quality and generous portion of the lump crab meat. Also the Amber Ale is an excellent beverage. The service was also superior. We'll be back!

Quite a long ways for a dinner if you are staying at Lost River, I'm still debating whether it was worth the 30 minute drive. The restaurant is apparently the most trendy in the area decor-wise. However the food were either almost a hit or a miss. While we got the most splendid service, we wished the food paralleled in... More

The decor is amazing and we were hoping for a great evening. There were five of us at dinner. The two that had hamburgers really liked them. One had the bison meatloaf and said it was very good. My friend had chicken and it was a large portion, somehow she wasn't expecting barbeque sauce. The meatloaf and the chicken had... More

My boyfriend and I were recommended to eat at this location after a wonderful weekend at Guesthouse Lost River. Our greeting was very warm and welcoming! We were starving before we hit the road and this was the best choice for us! I got the special of the day (Blackened Cod sandwich with a side of hushpuppies). My boyfriend had... More

My wife and I took some visiting friends to this restaurant last weekend and were very disappointed in the noticeable decline in service food quality and presentation that we experienced versus that we have enjoyed previously. It's sad because Lost River Brewery came on the scene only a year or a little more ago and was a giant upgrade to... More

We stopped for lunch, and had a very good experience. They had a decent beer selection, which included three of their own, and a couple nice guest selections. The food was very good and fairly priced, but the beer was a bit expensive, in my opinion. We were told to expect slow service, but we sat at the bar, and... More
