Maloney's

The food was excellent. Service was a little slow. Appeared to be short handed. I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant.

My mom had a good burger last time she came through town... but ours was not so good. Very limited veg options. I got a potato - very small. A chef salad that was marginal. Greens were bitter n dressing so so. The restaurant was too warm. The patio was even worse! It was so much nicer outside! I would... More

Hotel clerk referred us to this restaurant and we were very happy with the great food and service. Location gave it a real "pub" atmosphere.

It is more a local hangout than a tourist eatery. Maloney's is located in the town of Summersville away from the highway 19 strip. I usually seek out local places to try when traveling. Maloney's surely fits the bill. It is a typical sports bar with the walls covered with close byl sports memorabilia. Our table had lots of Cincinnati... More

Visited Maloneys for high school class reunion. Very nice place. Good service even with a big crowd. Will plan to visit again.

We came to meet family for the weekly trivia night. Even with a table of 8 people in a section with numerous tables the service was good. Food arrived in a timely manner and was mostly correct (I was missing mayo, my sister-in-law was missing butter). Food was above average (better than I expected) and the prices were reasonable.

When on the road the chain restaurants get boring. Maloney's is only a few miles from the busy Rt 19 route to Florida, but owned and run by locals. They only have beer and wine, but have several good craft beers. I had a blonde ale from Charleston and it was excellent. I only had a burger so it is... More

We visited on a Friday night around 830, sat outside on a covered deck. The restaurant was about half full. My husband at the grizzly burger, I have the coliseum steak sandwich, and the kids hotdogs. Everything was very tasty, the service was good, the man who waited on us was friendly and talkative. We would return.

Pleasantly surprised by ambiance and food. We have passed through for over 10 years and at rt 19 fast food! We thought this could be more of what we have been looking for and is. Good food and prices frequented by locals. Full filed all expectatios. Will never return to rt 19 chains.
