I travel to South Charleston a lot. I love being able to walk from my hotel to this great spot. I love pho and always have the vegetarian pho. I loom forward to it. I love that I can have dinner and walk through downtown, to the mound or back to the hotel in this nice town. Beer and wine... More

A beer or wine license would have been nice. The waitress' English skills were limited and the menu was not real explanatory for those of us with restricted Vietnamese cusine experiences. I was disappointed there was no lemon grass available that night. But, the food was GREAT and very reasonable, heavy duty silver ware and cloth napkins! It's worth the... More

Obviously the Vietnamese community eats here, we were there and so were many of the community. The Spring Rolls were excellent with just that hint of fresh basil to quicken your taste buds. My husband had Shrimp Fried Rice and he cleaned his plate; I had the seafood Pho and it was excellent. The service was good, our waitress had... More

We love Vietnamese and have experienced restaurants from all over the east coast. During a visit to Charleston we were surprised to find this little gem hidden on d street in south Charleston. Food was very good and the location convenient. We were a little surprised the bill had to be paid at a counter and not the table.

True Vietnamese Pho Restaurant. I live in DC/VA area and we have some really good Pho places - and this place was just as good or better the the Pho places we have here. Spring Rolls were excellent and the big bowl of Pho i got was great as well. What a pleasant surprise to find such a good place... More

When the majority of the patrons in an ethnic restaurant are of that ethnicity, you know you've come to the right place. This storefront restaurant serves excellent Vietnamese food, is fast and friendly, family-run, and the prices are a bargain. There is a wide variety of pho soup-based dishes, but lots of other Vietnamese selections. Spring rolls are excellent. Everything... More

I first visited the restaurant in the Summer of 2009 when it had just opened. At that time, it was closed on Wednesdays, and their menu consisted strictly of egg roll appetizers and 10 or so Pho dishes (the traditional beef noodle soup with a selection of meats to be included in the order). They had good flavor, and while... More

I've been to Pho Vinh Long several times. There food is very good - very authentic. I like the rare beef Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup). The beef strips come rare but the soup is hot enough to cook it. The spring rolls were quite good also. If you like Vietnamese food, I highly recommend Pho Vinh Long. It is in... More
