First let me say that the food was alright but the service and overall experience was terrible. After we were seated took a long time for the waitress to come to our table. Was told that if we ordered a pizza the wait for it would be at least 30 minutes (which was alright with us). Drinks were brought after... More

I recently had Fish Tacos - grilled mahi-mahi (dolphin fish) that were simply perfect. Flavours were balanced and perhaps the best tacos I've ever had. Plenty of local and regional beers on offer to accompany the meal. This is a nice local, earthy place. Decor is functional and quirky, clearly expanded over time. But the food is above what you... We stay at Snowshoe mountain several times each year and get tired of the same restaurants each day. That's when we head down the mountain to the Fiddlehead. Good food and a great atmosphere. Try the pizzas cooked in a custom-built wood fired oven. They are excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful and the bar has a really local... More

The people were friendly, the food was good and it was close by our B&B. We like to keep our dining simple and easy and this worked well for us.

This place was a great surprise and I recommend you try it. Burgers and pizza, outstanding. But make sure you check the daily special...unbelievable!! The first day they offered a beef brisket stir fry over wild rice...I know, in a road house??!! It was such a fantastic dish and rates way up there for memorable, excellent meals! So good, we... The service here were intense about taking care of us and it was busy for a Wednesday night. Got served quickly for the volume of people.

Restaurant for locals and tourists. Also dined twice (only eating establishment in town) 3 couples on MC trip stopped in for supper. Bistro burger was good but not outstanding. Next night shrimp primavera was excellent! Waiter was excellent both nights. Band was so-so. They tried.

We certainly didn't expect to find a veggie burger here, but it was the best we've ever had. The pizza was great too.

Dined twice at this restaurant (only restaurant in town....). First night was a very nice Portobello sandwich w/fries for $10. It was outstanding. Next night the Bistro Burger - good but very expensive - $9.25 for the burger only, plus $2.00 for "local grass fed beef", and another $1.95 for fries. Total of $13.20 for an unexceptional burger and fries.......

This place is a pizza and beer joint with surprisingly good food. I expected a nicer setting, but it was nice enough for a one time meal and the service was good and friendly.
