Good food, not great & pricey, frankly if you want a great meal at a great value at Snowshoe, go to Costco the day before you arrive here, stock-up and lug it up the mountain, and eat in-house if your fortunate enough to have a kitchen!!

We were surprised that this place was so packed on a Sunday evening. It cleared out at about 9. We managed to find a bar table, and we enjoyed the local brew and bbq platter for 2. Chicken was yummy - so tender - and we really liked the beans & slaw. Pork was good with a real kick to... More

We arrived around 12:15 on a three day weekend and the restaurant was not too busy yet, however the bar area did not have enough space to fit four of us (its not that large of a place overall). We asked to be seated at a small table until the 6 other members of our party joined us at one,... More

The food here was good and the resturant was nice but there service was slow and waiter was not very polite. I would recommed this place if you like BBQ but be sure you dont mind waiting if it is crowded.

The biggest problem is the unaccepable waiting time. We were quoted "more than 2 hours "for a party of six.. Get on the list early, like 4:30 or very late...reservations are not taken, for some unclear reasons...Once inside, the food was great, they know what to do with their barbeque...service was good also, quick and efficient, not the disoriented students... On a recent trip to Snowshoe for a week my wife and I ate at the Foxfire grill twice and each time we had meals that were better than expected. This is one of the more popular places to eat on the mountain but the wait for a table was only about 15 minutes. Service was very good both evenings,... More

We were told table would be 30 mins give or take. OK. Head to bar and get some drinks for us and the kids. At the 30 min mark order an app for the kids...told table was ready and head over...app to be delivered at table...it takes another 20 min to get it.....in the mean time we order some bar... More

A very fun spot serving delicious food... this indie restaurant is the best of the eateries we've tried at Snowshoe. Even with a table by the door, we felt very snug on a bitter cold night in this raucous restaurant. Our party of four was seated efficiently, and there were just a couple of minor snags which were handled with... More

My husband and I go to Snowshoe each New Years Eve and always eat at the Foxfire Grill. It is GREAT BBQ in a friendly and fun environment. Everything on the menu is good but our favorite is to split the Full Rack of BBQ Ribs - Yum. It comes with gourmet baked beans and coleslaw. We generally add a... More

The food was good however we sat by the front door and it was very drafty and cold. The portions were huge -so go hungry.
