Good mix of mountain food

We ate here several times for both lunch and dinner. The service was good and the menu was ample. the food was above average, although I got the sense that as the season was ending they were running out of ingredients. Both the lunch and dinner menus were good and the food was as promised. I... read more

We ate there 4 times during our stay. They have so many good things and obviously good chefs. Its hard to choose thats why you just go back and try something else. The 2nd two times we ate there when a lot of staff had left due to end of season were slow. The first 2 times were excellent service... More

We had apps and dinner one night as it was one of the only restaurants still open at the end of the season. The atmosphere, food and drinks were great. I would visit again.

So many local people recommended this place. We arrived during happy hour after skiing all day. We were starving. Hostess recommended we try happy hour bar menu. I ordered the hangover OMG! Chicken fried pork tenderloin sandwich topped with fried egg cheese and bq sauce. Awesome and a must try. Hubby got bacon burger. He loved it. Beer was $1... More

I have to say, the food is very good, but I'll be back because the staff was so accommodating. We arrived during the later dinner rush and were told that the wait for our group of six would probably be an hour to an hour and a half. Since the bar was full we asked if there was any way... More

The food tasted amazing, but we both ended up sick. I wish that weren't the case because the menu looked great and there were so many things I had wanted to try during return visits.

We stopped in for an early dinner after snowshoe closed before heading to silvercreek and had the BBQ for 2. There was nothing on the menu that didn't sound or look great. But wanting variety we got the BBQ plate and it was absolutely amazing. The food was phenomenal, and paired with local brews from WV, we fell in love... More

My daughter and I ate at Foxfire during a trip to Snowshoe. We both got burgers and they were very good. The server was nice and, in spite of being very busy, the service was good.

With the crowds in there You would have thought the food would be amazing sadly not the case. The service was really good both at the bar and at our table. My husband loved his chili and one of my sons got the Mac and cheese with crab meat and he said it was really good. My food I got... More

This was our first time eating at this restaurant. The menu has a lot to choose from. This place gets EXTREMELY busy at dinnertime, so I recommend going during off times. We were here around 3-4 on a weekday and got seated right away. The servers were very nice and attentive. The food was good, but could have been better.... More
