Everyone in our seven person group enjoyed their tasty dinners. The coleslaw was the best I've ever had, and I don't generally like coleslaw. The menu itself is unique.

We ate here for dinner recently during a trip to Snowshoe, and liked it so much we went back the next night. The food is excellent quality, with well-prepared, hearty portions, reasonably priced for resort restaurants. And just a few steps from our lodging at Highland House! The staff at Foxfire were extremely friendly in a very natural and welcoming... More

I was there in March '14 and honestly don't remember what I ate. What I do remember was I ate at the bar, the food was great as was the service and beer. Plus the decor was warm and inviting. Easily the best restaurant experience I had at Snowshoe.

This was our very first stop on our very first visit to Snowshoe! It really set the mood for a mountain top vacation. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was delicious. Also, the service was, yet again, fantastic.

We had dinner here twice during our stay in Snowshoe. Initially it's due to it being within walking distance from where we were staying, as it was quite cold (8 degrees – feels like minus 11!). However we really liked the place after our first visit so there was no reason not to go back as there were other menu... More

This place seems the best at Snowshoe, in the Village Central, although the food was not that fresh and the options limited. Their specialty fr lunch are sandwiches and burgers. The gyro tasted pretty good, although I had the impression it was not fresh; probably re-heated. My husband had a grilled chicken sandwich which was kind of dry and was... More

Went for dinner, and my husband had the ribs and I had the pulled pork BBQ. Nice flavor and I liked the sauce selection tableside. Cole slaw was delicious, fries were overcooked and a bit hard but we didn't have a lot of room for them anyway. Ribs were tender and meaty with a nice sauce. They had these odd... More

Food & service both great here but when it is full, the place is extremely noisy and hard to hear your table mates. Go for early lunch and you will enjoy it much more!

While I would not put Foxfire on my list of favorite restaurants in the country, it is by far the best in Snowshoe. If you keep in mind the mountain has very limited good eating options, you will enjoy Foxfire. The food was good, the atmosphere was lively, and the service was acceptable. We had to wait about 25 minutes... More

The place has pretty views and a nice decor. It was crowded at lunchtime, just wish they would have been a bit more accurate with their wait times. 15 minutes to wait for a table mid skiing is ok, but when it is closer to 45, it gets irritating. Weird health laws that I couldn't order my hamburger medium. It... More
