We eat here pretty much every time we visit Snowshoe. Service is always great, even for big parties. We had 20 people last on our last trip and called about a half hour ahead to see if they could accommodate us. They were able to get us all seated together with short notice and provided great service. They have a... More

My husband and I recently travelled to Snowshoe to celebrate our 40th - yes 40th - wedding anniversary over Labor Day weekend. We decided to have a late dinner at the Foxfire Grille. Upon arriving, we were informed the wait would be approx. 30 minutes.... no big deal as this is a fairly standard wait time for a Saturday night.... More

Disappointed in the BBQ at the Foxfire Grille. My husband enjoyed his pork ribs. The servings were large but greasy. Service was very good considering I believe they were short on help. We were seated immediately without a wait and did get a seat with a view. I guess I'm picky about my BBQ.

The restaurant was a little noisy so we decided to eat on the patio. The place was busy so it took awhile to get our orders taken and even longer for our food. However, it was well worth the wait. The food was outstanding! We got the pulled pork sandwiches with sweet potato fries!

The meal was good, service attentive, and view very good. We stopped by for lunch- most of the eating establishments on the mountain were closed. As I remember we ordered a humus dip with various breads and vegetables, and some type of pork snack consisting of two meaty and delicious ribs. Not a big order, but served quickly and prepared... Upon our arrival at Snowshoe (a Thursday in August), we headed over to Foxfire for dinner. The place was fairly busy for such a slow time of year. The waitress was very friendly and prompt. The prices were pretty high for BBQ but that is to be expected at a ski resort. It was my husband, 12 yr old daughter... More

My family ate here twice for dinner during our stay at the village. Both nights everyone in our party really enjoyed their food. Each night we had a few appetizers, between us we had the Southwest Chicken Salad, Steak Salad, Spinach Salad, Salmon Dinner, BBQ Ribs, Quesadilla, Vegetarian Sliders, Hamburger, and Chicken Tenders from the kids menu. The food was... More

Food was good but the noise was not. Not the kind of place for a nice meal with friends. If you need food on the mountain, you will be fed well but it is not a place to enjoy a quiet evening with friends.

My wife and I spent a weekend at Snowshoe with another couple and had dinner here. The wait was short for a Friday evening and the service was good. The place is extremely loud and the food was not served very warm and was average at best. This restaurant was conveniently located from the condo we were in so that... More
