Needs an extra outhouse

Only a single-occupant restroom for each sex; you may have to stand in line quite a while. Variable service: one time cheerful, another time surly. Delicious beef stew, if it's available.

What a beautiful location. You can eat or drink or both right on the frozen lake for lunch while you are skiing. Sit out on the deck. I heard from others the food is pretty good there too.

We were really looking forward to getting lunch at the boathouse. On other mountains out west I had generally had a good experience with on-mountain dining. I never have super high expectations for it though, realizing that it's generally closer to cafeteria type foods. We waited a long time event hough there was not many people down there, the food... odd that there didn't appear to be a typical ski lodge restaurant -but this was close - small and uncrowded. Chili good - as are the fries - not much else. But you can be in and out in 30 mins.

Eating on a sunny patio overlooking the frozen lake was beautiful. Cheeseburgers were good but nothing particularly special. I would definitely go there again because it feels like a really nice place to rest and eat rather than going into the village for lunch.

We enjoyed a 30 minute break in our ski day around 1:30 pm on a Sunday at the Boathouse. Cool, rustic atmosphere. Right at the bottom of the slopes with a ski lift ready to take you back to the top after your break. We both tried the lobster bisque - not the best I have ever had with very... More

We walked to just to use the restrooms but ended up trying the lobster bisque on day one. It was very good, so we took off a layer and settled down for another bowl and a cheeseburger and fries. The burger was forgettable but hey, the view of the pond outside and the indoor chatter were worth the price. The... More

This spot offers one of the best views in Snowshoe from the bottom of the mountain overlooking a pond. The food and drink offering are very basic in nature, but that is to be expected for a on piste restaurant.

I love hanging out on the outside deck! The tikki bar is quick and easy and serves a full selection. Grab a table with friends and use it as pit stop between runs.

@ bottom of Ballhooter lift, one of the main lifts at the intersection of almost everything here. Place looks like a hundred years old, full of old fishing gear on the walls, dark, lots of good smells. We visited sev times Highly rec the black bean burger: hearty, not too sloppy, fills the gut with much love. Lobster bisque is... More
