It's the only cafe at Shavers Lake. It has quick snack food and a few grilled items, even catfish! If you are spending the day at the lake, it's convenient. They have indoor dining and an outdoor patio, too. Some children were fishing off the deck!

OMgoodness the chili fries are so delicious. WE had them on more than one occasion while we enjoy the boating, canoeing, paddle boating, fishing, and just relaxing in a hammock at the lake.

I love having a spot to warm up right on the slopes! And the lake is beautiful. Food is ok, chili, fries, burgers, etc. They do have cold beer and other adult beverages. I prefer it over walking into the villaige.

Lovely simple cabin next to lake at bottom of main ski lift at Snow Shoe Resort. Pricey but tasty food and hot chocolate. Chili and fries my favorite. Go before or after massive crowd times (11:30-1:30). A place for warming up and family memories. Singles line to get out.

The location is nice as it is right next to the high speed quad. However, the food is mediocre at best. i ordered a chili and it was lukewarm and too sweet for my taste.

Nice find at the bottom of the mountain. Food was warming & service was fast. Great for a rest and a drink.

Both expensive and terrible. We had breakfast biscuits that were microwaved and made from cheap ingredients.

If you find yourself at the bottom of the mountain and are in need of food or drinks, the Boathouse is a nice place for a break. The Boathouse is a small restaurant located on Shavers Lake beside the Ballhooter Lift. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating with bathrooms. During lunch hours, the restaurant is packed with people... More

We spent $50 fo lunch for 4 people, two of which were children. I ordered wha was advertised as a deli sandwich and it was a prepackaged sandwich that was soggy and the meat tasted old. for $10 a sandwich that was maddening. We felt like they totally took advantage of the fact they are one of the only options... More
