First time here, we stopped in for light food. Nice atmosphere in this place, quite and not too bright. Their complimentary bread is great. We ordered the baked brie and calimari appatizets, my son got a huge bowl of pasta and sausage. He loved it. The calamari was very good. The waitress wad nice and provided good service. We will... We had just spent three days eating out in DC and paying through the nose, so this was a refreshing dining experience! I ordered the panko-crusted pork tenderloin and my husband had the spaghetti, both were delicious. Service was top-notch. The waiter was able to answer all of my questions about the menu and specials. If we're ever back in... More

I was in a dilemma a couple of years ago when I was asked to provide password hints in the vent I could not remember the password. One of the suggested hints was your favotprite restaurant. There it was; I could not hedge on that so I entered the Press Room. It is still at the top of my list.... More

I lived in Shepherdstown many years ago and I had the pleasure of enjoying The Yellow Brick Bank in its prime. I've spent 15 years trying to develop my own palate and culinary skills to recreate the flavors and textures that I enjoyed there. During a return visit to town this past weekend after a decade away I was told... More

The food was terrific and the prices were reasonable for the quality. We shared a Tuscan shrimp appetizer (with white beans), and we both had the house salad. Our entrées were Linguine with artichoke hearts & italian sausage, and Pork Milanese. It all was delicious - even the bread, though served cool, was delicious. Glasses of wine were reasonably priced... More

We had dinner. It was a cold day so we all opted for pasta dishes. Mine was a baked penne dish. It was a great comfort meal. The staff were very professional. The space is nicely decorated, I will return when we come back to Sheperdstown.

About once a month I drive 45 miles one way to eat at The Press Room. I always go for the buttermilk biscuit with sausage, eggs, served with fried potatoes and fruit.

Lots f choices here for dinner, many of which sounded really good. I enjoyed panko encrusted flounder and my wife had scallops - memorable for both of us. Reasonably priced wine list and entrees. They make their bread in-house and it melts in your mouth. Our server was warm, friendly and while unobtrusive she was there with a water or... More
